Karim's taxi service solves one of the biggest challenges on Waiheke Island, getting a taxi. You can book a taxi at your fingertips knowing that it will come ON TIME at the location of your choice. That was important to us during this trip. Convenience.

Karim was a great person to be around with. He was happy, friendly and caring. You can tell he loves doing this. Not only did he dropped us off at a secluded location of Poderi, he also informed that there would be no reception there and it would be extremely difficult to get a taxi home. So he offered to pick us up. Once again, ON TIME.

We decided to book him again for our departure the next day. Despite our late drop off the previous night, Karim showed up to our accommodation nice and early the next morning. He took us to a local bakery to make sure we would have a great breakfast before we leave.

Wouldn't recommend any other taxi services on Waiheke island besides Karim's Hybrid Taxi.

Yana Ingleton. We came to waiheke with my family for a wine tasting, everything from communication to pick up / drop offs was perfect. We could just text a driver whenever we needed him and he would come pick us up. (some stops were unplanned and very spontaneous, these guys had no issues with any plan changescon the spot) we initially didn't need a pick up from Mudbrick thinking we could walk to ferry, but one of us for very drunk so I texted Karim and he came to save us within 10-12 mins which was exactly what we needed. We arrived on Waiheke with a booking in a winery for lunch and no real idea how to get around. We took a public bus to Oneroa and had a nice time browsing around. I saw this Taxi parked up and asked the driver (Karim) if it was possible for him to pick us up in an hour a bring us to lunch. He was more than happy to oblige and we exchanged numbers. He was bang on time and shared his top tips on activities along the way. We arranged to meet him a couple of hours later and he again arrived spot on time to bring us to the ferry.
