I paid 20 dollars a night including a private room with toilet and shower. There is no air conditioning, but it is cold at night and you don't need it. The place is clean and there is also a balcony and laundry services for 5 dollars. The owners speak good English and is easy to communicate with. There are various day trips and a shuttle to Bora del Toro for $26 one way. There is a common kitchen that is not so clean, but it may also have a toaster, kettle, microwave, gas oven and refrigerator. The only downside is that the room was not as clean as I received it, the floor was dirty and there were some ants in the bed....

Be aware that little ants love that the doors of the hostel stay open through the day. Could use some simple white paint to brighten up the place and some air fresheners for the toilets. Read moreWhen we arrived, we found out we made a mistake in the booking dates. The staff was kind enough to still let us stay for the two nights. Their English is very well, which made this process easier. Laundry service is good and fast.
The room has a lot of ants crawling everywhere (literally, like even in the bed). This was not so great for us and overshadowed our stay here. The water in the shower does not get hot (even though they promote this). The place has a kitchen which works fine!
