Don't stay there!

By my mistake we paid 66$ for a room of 7m2 without window. I saw on the pictures that it might be the case BUT I thought since it is Hotel the conditions will be accurate. Normal price was 30$. 66$we paid in the city center Panama City for 4stars hotel, breakfast included.

I am sorry but first of all this Hotel is not "hotel" but "hostel" when it comes to facilities and overall design.

Mosquitos in bathroom.

I am frequent traveller travelled all over the world NEVER had situation like this. In Muslim countries, Russia, "dangerous" Argentina people were nice, helpful I was never cheated.

Here I was, plus it was American Citizen :))))

Coffee they offered was tasty though.

I hope this 30$ I paid additionaly will go to the local community as charity not for this Cheater owner.

Look what you wrote such a long essay.

We booked room in high season but we stayed in low one. So that as a reliable owner you should say that it was booking's mistake or gave us a bigger room for this price.

As I said I hope 30$ goes for charity.

This marketing of your super tasty breakfast is meaningless. We left earlier due to further plans. Travelling can be even more fine when you meet friendly people on your way.

I am travelling not doing business so that I wouldn't play with...

We originally planned to stay at Hotel Central for only two nights, but liked the area so much that we extended our stay four more nights. The hotel was very clean and conveniently located close to downtown Boquete. The staff was so patient and very accommodating, scheduling tours for us, letting us borrow towels for our raft trip, giving us directions around Boquete. I caught a cold while I was there and was craving the Panamanian Sancocho dish to soothe my sore throat; the staff recommended a restaurant that served amazing Sancocho, called us a taxi that stopped at the pharmacy for medicine on the way, and let us put our leftovers in the hotel fridge so we could finish them later. We forgot to turn in our key at checkout and the owner's wife drove down to intercept us on our way to the bus stop, she was so nice and understanding, she even offered to drive us the rest of the way to the bus stop. Such a great place and great people! We def enjoyed our stay in this hotel and if we ever return to Panama will stay here again. Thanks for a...

The owner Tim Zeller is a tireless slave who oversees a meticulously run operation dedicated to making ones stay a value and pleasure. His Integrity is beyond reproach and his well trained staff assures his guest of Great Gourmet and Traditional Coffee, Super Clean Rooms, and linens, along with a breakfast buffet which is a super fresh value including fresh juices, eggs, bacon or ham, hash browns, his proprietary coffee blend or tea and even a nut and fruit granola or oatmeal to take with you if you hike or sight see.. Its is such a beautiful experience sharing experiences with his clientele which are from every country it seems, all are friendly and smiling and at this open air dining on the terrace overlooking the landscape which usually includes rainbows and great fresh mountain air! I hope you can get a room and don't be afraid to stay a few days longer for a tranquil rest and maybe a great Jacuzzi while you watch a mountain lighting storm in...

At first glance we were a little disappointed by the room, but this little hotel grew on us over the three days we stayed. It's quite informal, but that gave us a chance to chat with the hotel manager who is very nice and hooked us up with a 4x4 tour to a hot springs and a waterfall, places we were not likely to have found on our own. Breakfast and coffee were both outstanding, and it was great to be able to walk right into town. There is also a place to park your car, if you have one. It's not at all hard to get there by public transportation. Small town atmosphere and friendliness definitely enriched our trip. Sometimes the hotel is more than the room, though I'd consider a small refrigerator for the leftovers and a few evening cervezas as a bonus.

Stayed a week here and absolutely loved it! The owner, Tim and his wife, along with their staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The rooms are nothing fancy but they are clean and beds are comfortable. This hotel is very relaxing, quiet, and within a short walking distance to the center of town. Weather in the area is perfect. I loved relaxing on one of the hammocks or in the hot tub at night. Breakfast is served every morning and the coffee shop is opened most of the day. This is the perfect place for relaxation.

Tim the owner is a great guy. They have great hot water in the showers. Great coffee with a free welcome coffee. Prices are reasonable for the room. They had comfortable beds and good sheets and pillows. Often when I travel the beds don't have good pillows. Here they even had extra to make it easy to sit in bed and work on laptop. They have a beautiful outdoor area.
