Had been walking by this place for several days seeing it was always packed so we decided to go one evening. There's only 8 tables and we managed to get the last free one. The waiter took our orders for drinks an tacos an then the wait began. We sat for more than 30 minutes before the beer came and another 15 before the cocktail arrived. We then had to ask for the water again. Another 20 minutes passed before our starter (guacamole) arrived. By then we ordered another cocktail as we rightfully expected it to take quite a while to arrive. At some point the owner came to the restaurant and things started to move so our tacos finally arrived, along with the cocktail. My tacos were fine, but the soft tacoshells on my wife's tacos tasted strange and even I didn't like them so she had just the filling. When we paid the owner was busy in the kitchen, thankfully he asked about the experience and I told him so we didn't have to pay for my wife's tacos. He apologized for the experience we had. I am sure that when he is there to manage the place things are good but unfortunately my review can only give 2 stars based on our current experience. This place is cozy and fun, the presentation is outstanding served in a beautiful tableware and cutlery. Alexander (owner) born in Mexico is a Lucha Libre(wrestling) fan. Back in the days there were a few masked wrestlers, El Santo which is Alexander's favorite and Mil máscaras to name a few. Funny enough when I was in my early teens my Mother used to watch them and in fact they were her favorite as they also became mine. So for me finding a place like this, that reminded me of those moments I shared with my Mom was very special because I can completely feel the passion Alexander has for this amazing place. I most definitely recommend Tacos Rudos to the world, and even though I don't eat the meaty and fishy stuff, I can assure you that by the gestures and faces of my friends they are freaking deliciosos. This food truck resembles the dream of a man that shows his love to his customers in the food he prepares, and I know this because I tasted it. All I can say is that I love Tacos Rudos, and I will be back many, many times. Gracias Alexander!! 🙏🏼❤️

Este lugar es acogedor y divertido, la presentación es sobresaliente servida en una hermosa vajilla y cubertería. Alexander (propietario) nacido en México, es fanático de la lucha libre. En el pasado, había algunos luchadores enmascarados como El Santo, que es el favorito de Alexander y Mil Máscaras, por nombrar algunos. Curiosamente, cuando era adolescente, mi madre solía verlos y de hecho, eran sus favoritos, ya que también se convirtieron en los míos. Entonces, para mí, encontrar un lugar como este, que me recordara esos momentos que compartí con mi mamá, fue muy especial porque puedo sentir completamente la pasión que Alexander tiene por este increíble lugar. Definitivamente recomiendo Tacos Rudos al mundo, y aunque no como las carnitas y el pescado, puedo asegurarles que por los gestos y las caras de mis amigos son deliciosos. We had very knowledgeable service from “people call me” Oz, both guiding us through the choices and serving some great Margaritas, too! Since I was really torn between two of my favorites, Chili Relleno and the tacos, went with the tacos a la carte. Generous portion of Sea Bass perfectly done, it was amazing. Normal portion is 3 of these, and you’ll probably want to take one home! The ground beef was perfectly seasoned and slow cooked in the secret sauce. I could have chosen shrimp as well, but I can’t imagine they could have been better! Unfortunately we couldn’t try the Guacamole, which came highly recommended.
