This is a lovely busy restaurant with tons of great food to eat in or take home. The first time I came I had brought Stella but unfortunately, dogs were no longer allowed. So I grabbed a coffee and a muffin and we headed on our way! Both were devoured before we got home which was just a few blocks away. The next time I came without Stella and enjoyed a Hot Durango sandwich. It was awesome but I would have liked more jalapenos. But that is a personal preference. But the meat and cheese and bun were really great. Plus there was a really refreshing pasta salad too! Next time I went I got a Mexican dish, the Spiced Stacked Crispy Enchilada Plate. Oh wow!! I chose the chicken but you can have beef or pork too. It came with yellow rice, & beans. It was three layers high with Ranchero sauce and cheese. It was so big I bought some home and had it for lunch the next day. I was too full to have dinner that night!! They also provide free water and a flavoured water. That day was watermelon. I am not sure if they have other flavours on different days. This is also a bakery. My good friend suggested that I should try the Queso and Jalapeno bread. I was lucky to get the last loaf!! And who knew it would go so good with peanut butter?? It is a delicious bread. I usually don't eat much bread but I have finished this one and plan of getting another tomorrow as it is a Tuesday special. I will have to check out other specials when I am there. The service is awesome. The ladies who run this place know what they are doing. Service is prompt and always with...
Read moreWhere are the sidewalks for pedestrians to walk on? I understand your best intentions to accommodate customers by providing as much parking space as possible, but by doing so, this is an accident waiting to happen. Somebody can get killed outside of your establishment. I like your place, don't get me wrong, I think the food and bread is 5 stars, therefore the bad score is due to the lack of sidewalks exclusively. On occasions, I’ve seen bigger cars that even take a bit of the road forcing pedestrians to walk on the road, and as you know, it's a busy road. This is really bad. I know this is not the only place where this happens, in fact, walking in Boquete sometimes feels like an adventure video game with all the obstacles. However, responsible businesses with similar parking arrangements have put the sidewalk in front of the cars, like the dollar store nearby. Your place have pots with plants, which looks nice, but it makes even your customers risk their lives having to go behind the parked cars because there is no room to walk elsewhere. You have a successful business which a lot of people like, please do something about this before something...
Read moreI'm really disappointed after reading your response to a customer's concern about safety outside your business. Instead of showing empathy or a willingness to address the issue, your reply came off as dismissive and defensive. A more constructive and professional approach would have been something like: "Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We take safety seriously and will look into how this can be improved." Blaming the building owner or offering excuses doesn't change the fact that you’ve chosen to operate in a space that lacks safe pedestrian access. Prioritizing parking over people's safety sends a troubling message about your values as a business. While I agree that the matter could have been addressed privately, now that it has become public, the way you handle criticism speaks volumes. Your response has made it clear where your priorities lie, and unfortunately, it's not with the well-being of your community. I can’t support a business that shows such a lack of concern for basic safety and accountability. I hope I'm wrong and my message sparks whatever it's needed for you to do the...
