Restaurante El Sabrosón #3. — Restaurant in Bajo Boquete

Restaurante El Sabrosón 3 is, in all aspects, far superior to its sister restaurant Sabrosón 1. Better service, better cooked food, more variety, better facilities, nicer atmosphere. With that said, it also has the same prices, and consequently suffers from a similar issue insofar that you can get better Fonda type food for a lower price elsewhere in Panama. It was still a very nice breakfast and lunch and I highly recommend you visit this restaurant; it is a shame that it is rated slightly worse than #1, and seems less well known...

A decent place to get a quick meal. We returned several times because both my boyfriend and I could find food we liked filling and cheap (around $5). It's a classic Panamanian cafeteria style restaurant; choose your carbs (rice, fried rice, lasagna), then your protien (usually chicken, pork, fish beef or lentils) then your veggies, and there's dessert too if you want it. Easy and fast....

Very popular and cheap cafeteria to get some good local food! Don't expect anything spectacular but if you're on a budget and don't want to head to one of the touristy and overpriced American places, this is where you should head. It's probably even cheaper than cooking your own food. There can be a line and it tends to get crowded but...
