Hostal Virreinal AQP — Hotel in Arequipa

The first thing I need to say is: stay at Virreinal. I was there for 2 weeks working remotely and I felt at home. From the familiar setting to all the arrangements they did when I had no time to research anything. They booked all my taxis, my tours and always helped with all my needs. The breakfast is fantastic, every single morning I was eating happy looking at a volcano. The location is great, close to everything, but not in the middle of all the noise. I found the vibe a bit cold. No foyer or kitchen area to share. They charge for a liter of hot water if you need some. If you look carefully on the photo of the hotel, above the entry door there are 3 high voltage lines which make me feel a bit like in a military complex, not to relax in vacation 🤣. So although the location is not far from the Plaza de Armas I preferred my other stays on the other side to the west side up to Mondo Alpaca which are more touristic. Que pena que solo los comentarios buenos les agraden a este hostal, pero es importante ayudar a otros viajeros para que no sean tratados tan mal como nos toco a nosotros desde que entras a este Hostal Virreinal AQP se siente la mala vibra hice el comentario por favor dame tu mejor habitación que venimos de muy lejos y el tipo me hizo una cara de ………los empleados que atienden lo siento mucho pero si no les agrado su trabajo pues hay que darle oportunidad a otros, ya que en este tipo de negocio donde tienes que estar atendiendo gente todo el día lo que menos queremos los viajeros son caras largas. Pregunte si se podía tomar un té y la tipa de recepción, porque no decir amablemente tenemos, solo en venta agua caliente y te me contesto esto es un hostal, pero creo que no tienen muy claro el concepto de hotel y hostal les invito a informarse, mi compañero lamentablemente se equivoco en hacer la reseña del hotel anterior que también fue mal el servicio, tuve que salir de la habitación porque prácticamente lo tenían acosándolo y obligándolo a que cambiara los comentarios que no eran para ese hostal, súper abusivos eso no se hace señores al final muy mala experiencia un solo día dentro del hostal se sentía como un cuartel militar feo el ambiente muy pesado. Buscamos inmediatamente otro hotel y encontramos Hotel Puerta del sol era otro nivel de atención súper amables desayuno muy bien otro ambiente buena vibra nos sentimos felices todos los chicos mis respetos Arequipa es una linda ciudad que merece ser visitada muchas veces por cierto era la segunda vez en Arequipa Espero que mejoren y ese 4.7 sea más real y no la calificación de amigos...
