The location of the hotel was priceless. I walked everywhere, 6-to 10 minutes to the main square, 20 to 25 minutes to Mirador de Yanahuara, 10 to 15 minutes to Mercado San Camilo, 20 to 25 minutes to Universidad San Agustin de Arequipa. It is also surrounded by restaurants, local breweries, bakeries, and pharmacies (closed on Sunday). Despite all the activities to do around, the place is quiet because traffic is very limited (streets are closed) so the noise is very limited, ideal for working, writing, reading, etc. |The people working in the hotel were just superb. I had some medical emergencies (my father suffers from neuropathy) and the staff was always there to facilitate hot water, extra blankets, etc. |The place is spotless and clean. There are dust storms in Arequipa, but the cleaning personnel is always there to keep the place like new. |The breakfast is more like a brunch, excellent selection of fruit, vegetables, eggs, ham, cereals, yogurt, etc. |One of the best places I have stayed so far. I want so much to give this property a five-star rating. This is a beautiful property with a courtyard, in a very quiet part of the historic center of Arequipa. It's basically at the end of the main street that goes to the main plaza. You have access to hundreds of great restaurants. The city government keeps the historic center so clean. The room and bathroom were not big, but the bed was comfortable with great linens and fantastic duvet and blankets. The bathroom linens were also soft and there was lots of hot water for showers. Unfortunately, they don't have any heat in the hotel. One day and evening we were quite comfortable, because it had gotten quite hot outside. But the other two days, having a little bit of heat in the bedroom would have been just slightly more comfortable. They had a great breakfast with good coffee, fresh fruit, fresh cucumber and tomato, and they cooked eggs fresh for you. I would recommend this property, particularly if you're not needing a...

The place was nice, not too crowded and the inside patio would have made it a very quiet place isolated from the city noise but it also creates echo inside and the staff, otherwise very helpful and welcoming, fail to enforce a silence policy at night and on the mornings so if you have a combination of students and families with young kids staying at the hotel, you will have few hours of quiet. The breakfast is also really good ! Perfectly ripe avocados and tomatoes and all you can eat of everything else ! I do recommend to stay there, it is a very nice neighborhood, just try to tell the staff to not be afraid of enforcing silence if you are here to rest a little between two trecks. Note: it's not at all on the corner with the boulevard as shown on Google maps, it's farther down in the little pedestrian street (violin street) on the right.

We stayed in about 4 hotels in Cusco and we loved this hotel the most in Arequipa where we stayed 4 nights. Clean, good vibes and good housekeeping too. Got a big room where there is a dining table and 2 chairs, as well as plenty of floor space to put our items. Great reception who always ask what time we will be having breakfast the next day or if we need packed breakfast to go (sandwich, oreo biscuits, packet drink and a fruit). Good safety/ security as the front door is always locked so you got to press the doorbell, but there's aways someone to open quickly.
