The spaghetti was good, but the portion should be a bit bigger for the money. The problem is that you can’t even choose some more protein at least - the (stuff) was not really helpful, first they denied (with laughing) to let us take one ingredient more to our spaghetti (pay fot it ofc), then brought us dirty knife (after telling him he brought it “clean” but not really clean). We heard also other people asking for it with the same result as us. The system of menu is quite confusing (we talk also with other people who felt the same) and not really “costumer friendly”. You can choose your own kind spaghetti with souce and ingredients, which seemed to be the main thing in this restaurat - BUT for 24sol you get two free ingredients but only vegetable which do not suit together if you wanna choose some protein then you pay some sols more (1,5-7 sol) if you choose anyhow the 3rh ingredient it does not matter which but you pay +3sols.
If you ask for more ingredient for spaghetti with meat balls you won’t get it.
People next to us got a salad without the sauce (we had the same salad with sauce), so they had to ask for it. The place has really good potential but unfortunatelly the people do not do the job properly .. but it needs just some little changes and it’s gonna be...
Read moreCan’t recommend this place. I had a worm in my salat and they forgot to add the ingredients in to my pasta. When I showed them the worm, they literally didn’t say anything to that and just took off the plate. When we got the check I told them that we were not happy with the food and that we would like a discount and they took us 0,50 soles off 😂😂 which is literally nothing. Also they added the chicken (which was 3 little cubes) for 3 soles even if it’s 2 soles on the menu. In total they seemed to be very on organized and chaotic. Also the worm means that the hygiene in the kitchen is quite bad. We didn’t finished our food. We paid the full...
Read moreWas craving a pasta dish and found Pasta Canteen. It’s a well known gem in Arequipa and for good reason. I sat upstairs and was able to watch them cook the pasta dishes while I drank a Cancho Cojo and ate bread and salad. I personally enjoyed the Coldplay mix they seemed dedicated to playing. It was a whole mood. Dani, the server is a wealth of knowledge. He is friendly and very helpful. Ask him about his art :) and of course the pasta was the main event. The dishes are simple but boast a spectrum of flavors and the texture from the fresh pasta puts it over the edge. Such a great place to enjoy a fulfilling pasta meal. Please do yourself a...
