Hotel San Francisco Inn — Hotel in Arequipa

September 2015 Review - the other reviews are 2 years old. This place has deteriorated and it seems to have no management at all. Staff did not know I was coming and could not find my booking which was done via Hotels.com. I was give a room which had not been properly cleaned and there was strong smelling wax polish on the floor. I asked for another room and was offered one with no windows and which had not been made up after the previous guest. Then I was brought to another room which also had no windows and was full of cleaners machines. I told the girl I was leaving and she just shrugged her shoulders. Stayed here during a big mining exhibition which packed Arequipa. This is an old building in a great location a stones throw from the beautiful center of Arequipa. The rooms are naturally cool in the day and warm at night. The hotel is very clean, the staff are nice and the breakfast is adequate. It has no frills is not luxurious but was a nice experience and great value. Soap and shampoo are included but I would advise to bring your own. El servicio en general del hotel San Francisco Inn durante nuestra estadía (mi mamá y el mio), ha sido atento, placentero, por parte de sus colaboradores: Recepcionista, Administrador y Vigilancia, mi opinión engloba los siguientes puntos: Ambientes: Tiene variados ambientes como cafetería, hall, balcón con vista al misti, hermosas y cómodas habitaciones. Higiene: Los ambientes siempre han estado súper limpios y en especial las habitaciones. Atención: El personal que labora en el hotel desde el primer momento han sido serviciales y atentos ante cualquier solicitud o consulta. Ubicación: A mi mamá le gustó la ubicación a 1 cuadra de la plaza de armas de arequipa. Desayuno: Brindan una variedad de alimentos para el desayuno y lo bueno es que se le pregunta al huesped si desea algo en especial para su comodidad, a mi mamá le gustó los jugos variados, ensalada de frutas y torrejitas (verdura, harina, huevo, cebolla, arroz) Comodidad: Tanto el hall como las habitaciones poseen un hambiente súper familiar y acojedor. Detalles: Desde la fachada, la entrada al hotel, la recepción y el hall están hechos de sillar, una característica muy singular y distintiva, propia de la ciudad blanca. Finalmente, mi mamá y yo lo recomendamos al 100%, es más pueden ir con adultos mayores pues el hotel posee ascensor y así facilita su fácil acceso a las habitaciones y otros ambientes del hotel... ¡¡¡...
