Nice little cafe. Come here to chill, get work done and socialize with friends. They even have a chocolate making workshop. I never participated in this though. I made a purchase of their ice cream sandwich. The pictures made it look so irresistible. I really don't do dairy or desserts, but like I said, irresistible. My experience with the actual thing was very disappointing. This is where the mismatch between marketing and reality comes in. Upon receiving the sandwich, I realized how hard it was. Biscuit, ice cream, everything, tough like rock stone. We bought 2 different types to be shared between us. Wrong move. Should have only bought one. Neither of us could cut through this thing as you would a burger. Instead, we had to cut in layers. Add to this challenge, the taste of the desert itself. I would say the taste is unique. I was expecting something else altogether and was left thoroughly disappointed. Tsk tsk. As you would have it, I don't believe in wasting food or my hard earned money, so I ate my fair share of the desserts, much to my detriment though. Like I said, I don't do dairy, and this is a bad habit of mine- trying to eat off my food regardless of how unsatisfied it makes me feel. Whatever you do, do not get...

5 stars for the chocolate workshop!! Must do

The workshop is hold in a very beautiful and clean environment where you can also just chill, relax and enjoy your chocolate or coffee.

Adrian who is holding the workshops, at this moment it's just him, is an amazing teacher with so much positive energy and a lot to share, he's English is very good, you'll notice from the first moment that he loves what he's doing.

The workshop was well structured and very mind opening, after it I see chocolate in a whole different way and I'm possible to recognise real chocolate from the fake industrialised ones. On top of all the information you'll do your own chocolate series with individualised toppings, from the beans to the chocolate, in the whole process there will be a lot of tasting and guessing and again tasting.

I'm very glad that I did it, it's all the money worth it, if you have the possibility do it and get your horizon...

We had the chocolate masterclass and were swept away by the enthusiasm of Andrés, the master chocolatier. The workshop is well-paced, informative, and 100% hands-on fun!

The journey through the various stages of the making of a chocolate bar is well designed, so that by the end you'll have made your own bon bons, and your taste will be able to recognise authentic chocolate.

Will we ever be able to go back to normal "chocolate"? We don't know yet, but just to be sure we sacked the shop to bring back home enough supplies of their excellent bars.

Kudos again to Andrés, whose skills as a chocolate-maker are only matched by his ability to share the love for his...

We did the chocolate workshop here and it was amazing! It costed 80 soles (around 20 euros) per person and it was definitely worth the money. We picked, deshelled and grinded our own cocoa beans and drank our own chocolate of the gods, and learned a lot about the history and process of chocolate. Our workshop teacher Andres was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We furthermore learned how to taste the difference between real and fake chocolate and were able to make our own bonbons. We could even temper the chocolate ourselves. It’s a chock full workshop! Definitely worth your time if you’re looking for something fun to do besides sightseeing :)
