Stayed for 3 nights to explore the wonderful "White city". This hotel is very strategically located, just one block from the Plaza de Armas. The rooms were big and very clean: the housekeeping even picked up and organized some of our stuff to properly clean everything daily (we were impressed!). One improvement would be to use a little less chlorine or switch to alternatives. The view from the balcony was just marvelous (see included photo).||The staff was very helpful despite the language barrier. But be careful with booking tours with them; as this hotel is regarded as "relatively expensive" (we were warned by our taxi driver as well as previous reviews) they charge you more for a tour, e.g. you might pay 60 soles, and when you are picked up by the bus in the morning you will discover people from cheaper hotels have paid as low as 30 soles for exactly the same tour.||The breakfast was standard, nothing special. Only instant coffee unfortunately, which keeps surprising me from this country....||Would definitely consider booking this...

Only complaint is the potential noise from the street (I had earplugs so the sound didn’t bother me), and the price could be cheaper for what it is. That said, it’s central location is probably the reason it costs $5-10 $ more than a comparable place somewhere else. I would definitely stay here again. Also, the city views from the balconies are excellent - make sure you always ask for a room with a balcony because there is at least one (which we were put in initially) that is in the middle of the hall and has no views to the...
Read moreLocation: The hotel has a perfect and safe location. It is two blocks from the main square, restaurants, shops and the central market. The Santa Catalina Convent is just around the corner.||||Room: Our room was clean, but very noisy, and with no heating. Fortunately we got extra blankets for the night. The twin beds had hard mattresses. ||||Staff: The hotel staff we met spoke English, and they were accommodating.||||Other services (breakfast, wifi, storing luggage): The complementary breakfast was adequate. The wifi service was slow and intermittent. We were able to store our luggage at the reception area after check-out time for free. || ||Would stay...
