Museo del Pisco AQP — Restaurant in Arequipa

We went down there for a drink not food. So I couldn’t rate their food menu. The service was very week from the start. Unfortunately I don’t read Spanish and they didn’t have any menus in English which is completely fine. But when I asked the waiter about a specific cocktail I was given the wrong details simply because she had no idea. When I mentioned it after receiving the cocktail she specifically told me that it was to late.

I have no problem paying up to USD 10 for a drink but the service has to reflect it, and this place...

I can not recommend this place. The drinks are okay, but much more expensive than in the bars of the neighbourhood. The ambiente is inviting, but we were rather disappointed of the service. Preparing our four cocktails took almost ten minutes, although we were practically the only guests. When I said that I wanted to pay, it again took some time in which the waitress was talking to a colleague. In the act of credit card paying she asked for a tip and although I signalled that I did not want that she added ten percent....

Best selection of pisco cocktails in the city! A bit on the pricey side, but really worth it! Any of the infused chilcanos is great and the corn served in place of peanuts could be better served warm. There is a mezzanine if you feel like staring into the ceiling or if you want a more cozy and private atmosphere.

Music selection is particularly good and the staff takes a while to get to you if you take seats on the second floor, but no...
