Casa Mirador Guesthouse — Hotel in Distrito de Cusco

My partner and I just had the pleasure of staying at Casa Mirador and I cannot recommend it highly enough! Carlos was amazing and went above and beyond with his exceptional hospitality. He allowed us to keep our extra luggage at the hostel during our 5 day Salkantay trek and Amazon jungle tour, which was a huge help! On top of this, when we would check back in after our trips our luggage would be waiting in our room for us. He also offered plenty of restaurant recommends and on nights we were tired he’d provide recommendations for restaurants that deliver.

The location was perfect and is just a short walk (8-10mins) to the main square and close to many great restaurants! The room was comfortable and the breathtaking view of Cusco from our balcony was fabulous.

The view of the city is absolutely amazing! The coca tea available really helps if you're feeling the altitude sickness and we loved the "pay when you can" system that Carlos has set up for water/beer. The owner (Carlos) is incredibly friendly.. he even came down to meet us and helped with our bags when we got lost on the first night trying to get there. Be aware he'll send you a WhatsApp video of how to get there before you arrive so it's helpful to download the app prior to getting here.||The location is great.. close to all the good stuff in San Blas and only like 10 mins walk to Plaza de Armas but far enough that the noise of the city isn't an issue. I cannot say enough about my stay at Casa Mirador! |For the price, the value is unbelievable because the views are incredible from this place! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets that can be enjoyed by balcony of the entire city. And only a 10 minute walk to the main square thru these beautiful winding quintessential pathways with fabulous restaurants and night life! |But what made the experience even better was the manager, Ernesto! He is so amazing! He really went above and beyond so many times for me - I cannot say enough about him.
