So I hate to do this because I think this place would be 5 stars otherwise, but my food came severely undercooked.

Our appetizer was fantastic (I don’t even like seafood but it was good!) and we were so excited by the presentation and explanation of each ingredient by our server. But 2/3 of our entrees were raw meat. I ordered mine “medium” and the meat was just seared on the outside and basically cold, blue, and raw on the inside. My friend’s burger was also very pink on the inside. It’s not like they rushed to bring it out either, we waited a while and were the only ones in the restaurant when we ordered and would have happily waited longer.

The waitstaff was very apologetic when they were informed and offered me a free desert (although since I have allergies I couldn’t eat them) so they didn’t charge me for me entree. The waiter even took the place to go show the cook.

I truly think this was a one-time mistake, and the food looked like it would have been incredible otherwise based on the sides and other ingredients. Their sister restaurant is well known and...

I don't know if the food is any good, but the cocktails are worth it, and the staff are amazing. On the hunt for the infamous Pisco Sour, we chose ERA as the place to be for a Cusco sunset and a spirited cocktail tasting. And, oh boy, was it ever the right choice.

Rising above the Mirador de San Blas, the view across the old town is unbeatable. Our super-friendly waiter and mixologist Michael, and his compatriot behind the bar, regaled us with a number of mouthwatering, pisco-based cocktails that inaugurated us into the intoxicating world of grape-juice brandy. I do hope every Pisco Sour that comes my way in the future is as delicious and prepared with the same care as the ones we enjoyed at ERA.

HAPPY HOUR is a seemingly perpetual event that lets you order 2 cocktails for 30 soles. This includes classic Pisco Sours (22 soles), Pisco Punch (23 soles), and classic Chilcano (can't remember the price for obvious reasons).

All in all, a truly lovely experience, with upbeat tunes, strong drinks, and an...

Stopped by Era tonight and had an absolute blast! Michael and Abel, our servers, were the real stars of the show—friendly, attentive, and full of energy that made the whole experience feel special. The food was fantastic—I went for the crispy chicken and sausage, and it was a perfect mix of crunchy, juicy, and savory, with flavors that hit all the right spots. Paired it with a hot pisco, which was a revelation—warm, smooth, and just the right kick to complement the meal. Era’s got a vibe that’s hard to beat, and with Michael and Abel running the show, I’m already looking forward to...

We wanted to dine somewhere special on our last night in Cusco and we were so glad to find this place. The lady behind the bar is an artist when It comes to cocktails. It took a while for our food to arrive but you can not complain when you enjoy your drink with a view like this! The presentation of the food was surprising. I was not expecting such a beautiful display at this price point. My vocabulary is not rich enough to express how I felt when I had my first bite. This is an eloquent dining experience at a reasonable price. Do not even let the numerous stairs stop you from enjoying this.
