Hi, I am Samantha and I recently attended the 2 DAYS SAN PEDRO DEEP HEALING IN MACHUPICCHU with Peru Shamans. I was guided on the journey by Walter and Maestra Lucia, which was a powerful and unforgettable experience. They are very caring and loving people who work with the medicine and the land beautifully. I connected with both of them very strongly and felt immense gratitude to be in their presence. I signed up to this experience as I wanted to visit MACHUPICCHU and I had heard great things about Peru Shamans. This journey far exceeded what I thought it would be. I felt so connected to the land, the mountains, my true self, and the medicine.

My favorite thing about the retreat was being with Walter and Maestra Lucia and connecting to the land. We also meditated and visited a beautiful waterfall, which I loveddd. I had a wonderful experience with Peru Shamans, from the initial communications before I travelled to Peru to the end. I booked a rainbow (7 chakras, 7 feminine energy from the mountains) nusta ceremony. This was a private ceremony, and on the day Jenny my wonderful translator (Qechua to English) and guide picked me up by taxi on time and together with the the lovely Maestra Julia (shaman lady) we went to a sacred hill site, close to a water area and the ancient temple of the moon. Being a solo traveller I was a bit apprehensive since all conversation/payment had happened online, but from the time I met Jenny I felt reassured and the whole morning was a great experience. They explained to me every step of the ceremony, which include cleansing, coca leaf reading, preparing an offering to Pachamama and ritual re balancing my body. After the session, I suddenly felt very tired like when you spend the day on the beach and has released a lot of energy so I had a nice sleep in the afternoon which re energised me and I felt great. Aug 26,2024 I attended the ceremony. The retreat center is a safe place with lots of personal care; the Shawman was very good. The guide spoke english and provided detail information for first timer like me. I rated this place 4 because the location is bad. And the car they provided to take us was not good for the road we needed to travel. Finally leaving the center immediately after ceremony was like killing the experience. Travel time is about 2 hours from Cusco through not so good neighborhood. So 3 hours travel time and 3 hours ceremony is what you get. I didn’t feel well for the next 24 hours. With all that said, I didn’t even bother to attend the second day. Amazing enough, the center has room to hold the guest for one night to have a better experience but they chose not to offer it.
