Inkas Tarabamba Hotel — Hotel in Distrito de Cusco

We did not enjoy our stay here at all. This is not a three star hotel. Upon arrival we were put into a room that had a missing window in the bathroom (photo attached). We were changed to a new room as soon as we showed the staff but the fact they thought it was acceptable to put us in this room to begin with is completely unacceptable. The rooms were freezing and had no heating. We had to swap to another room for the last day of our stay and the bathroom wall had a big hole in it that you could see into next door’s bathroom. Completely not ok and we had to cover it up with a pillow. In both rooms, the shower doors were very loose and came off the hinges a couple of times and we had to fix it. Water also leaked from the shower onto the bathroom floors. The door handle on the bathroom fell off when I was in the bathroom once and we also had to fix that. The walls are paper thin and you can hear people coming and going all night and doors slamming. One night in the middle of the night we were also woken up by a staff member knocking on someone else’s door and speaking loudly to them. At this hour of the night they should have used the phone to call up to the room. The breakfast options were a joke. The coffee still had coffee grounds in it. No hot options, not even eggs. Only options were bread, cheese slices, ham, grapes and cereal. There wasn’t even cold milk...

This hotel did not have change when we checked in. The old man said he would bring it to our room, which he never did. When we went back to stay a week later again we asked about the change, and rather than call the man whom they knew from description they treated my wife and i like liars. Then when we paid for our room the second time with the exact same denomination of bills they did not have change, and i waited 20 minutes for change at the front desk. I am going to...
