INKAYRA HOTEL — Hotel in Distrito de Cusco

You get what you pay for! The shower was actually the best part because great pressure and it got hot. But the room is overall very very cold. The floors were filthy when we checked in and there was trash in the bathroom but the next day after the room service they cleaned it. Not the best nor the worst part of town. Getting in the hotel is weird though because you have to buzz in and it usually takes them a long time for someone to come down and let you in. Breakfast was eggs, bread, butter, jam and tea. We recently stayed at the Inkayra hotel in Cusco Peru. It is a lovely clean hotel has many different styles of rooms. they also offer a simple breakfast and tea any time of day or night. All staff was pleasant, helpful and accommodating. It is helpful to speak spanish. We stayed one night then left for a 5 day hiking and camping trek on the Inka trail they were so very kind to hold our bags during the time so we didn't have to carry everything on the hike. I recommend them if you are looking for good value and pricing. Not a 4 or 5 star more in the hostel category. They do have wifi...

Das ganze Haus sieht nicht mehr aus wie auf den Bildern. Putz fällt von Wand und Decke, Fenster schließen nicht richtig, es stinkt immer wieder mal aus dem Abfluss. Das Wasser in der Dusche kam erst braun und wurde allmählich heller. Lichter teils ohne Funktion. Alles eher schmutzig und hygienisch definitiv bedenklich. Komplete Baddecke schimmelig (leider Bild vergessen) Fremde verschiedene Haare im Bett. Das Frühstück: Warmes Wasser (ich hoffe mal nicht von der Leitung) mit Instant Kaffee Pulver (ein Tütchen pro Person), ein par Säckchen Tee, undefinierbares Brot mit einer Art Marmelade und ein Ei pro Person. Von 07:00 bis 09:00. Nachts wird teilweise mit Abbruchmaschinen im Haus herumrenoviert, (bis ca. 12 Uhr) was einfach geleugnet wird! Der Angestellte ist oft nicht da, mann muss grundsätzlich klingeln, um ins Hotel zu kommen - kommt aber lange keiner - dafür liegen die Schlüssel der Gäste für alle greifbar auf dem Tresen! Kein Wort englisch. Einmal haben wir um 1 Uhr nachts 30 Minuten draussen gewartet, bis man uns herein lies - weil wir die Leitung angerufen haben, das Klingeln wurde ignoriert oder überhört! „Besondere Highlights“ laut Webauftritt: die Aussicht… Wellblechdächer siehe Bild Die Lage: Es ist laut, auch Nachts (Autos und eine andauernd anlaufende Pumpe im Hotel) und Gestank (extreme Abgase und Urin), was aber in der Gegend wohl normal und nicht dem Hotel anzulasten ist.
