I am a long time customer of Consettur in Machu Picchu. I organize meditation journeys, yoga retreats. Have a travel agency. In March 2022, one of my clients from Europe were denied boarding her flight to Peru twice as the online health affidavit page and form had errors, hence not her fault and the airline did something illegal denying her boarding the plane. I went 3 times to the office in Machu Picchu to explain the situation and change her bus tickets for later dates. They said they would help , and told me come back when in charge is there who then said I had to contact a lady in Cusco office via email and whatsapp to change the ticket dates and explain the situation. I sent a long email plus whatsapp message to her with passport info and ticket as i was told to do, and she only responded shortly and rudely: " Buenas tardes estimaos ( Good afternoon sirs ), CUAL ES SU SOLICITUD ( what is your application ) and Especificar por favobr ( spesify please) HILE I HAD SPENT OVER AN HOUR COMPOSING A LONGER EMAIL EXPLAINING IT ALL which I then resent. Againa resceived a bad and delayed answer where they asked fo4r the details i had already twice sent them.
Again i gave details a fourth time and receoved the answer from a supervisor to write again early april to change for the date in April that the client wanted. Found it very strange that a ticket for March 20 should be changed early April and seemed late and wrote again to get clarity and they havent answered. It seemed they consciously made themselves foolish to misunderstand what i wrote and answered in an irritating and rather disrespectful way, and avoid helping change the date and thought it doesn't matter for the European client to loose the 24$ the ticket costed. I spent several hours on this and no result. Very bad customer services. Not my clients fault the page with the health form didn't load!

Long story short , we’ve booked a door to door ticket with Inca rail , which means we were supposed to have all included ( entrance , bus journey with return ) . Once we arrived it was all good , they let us in and they asked for our passports to get registered. All good . Unfortunately at the end we’ve lost our bus ticket , one of the officer told us ‘ no worries guys , you just need to get it printed once again ‘ all good , and guess what ?? I went to the ticket office , handle out our passports , just to be told we weren’t registered and that I had to repurchase the tickets … I’ve asked as well the female officer to tell her colleague the fact that she saw me and my boyfriend with the tour guide and the rest of the group but she pretended not to remember which is ridiculous… So basically I had to pay 24$ dollar , but I mean why would you ask for our passports twice , just to be told I haven’t been registered?
