This is a great hotel. The rooms are nice and clean, although extremely cold! We were there in july, and when we woke up at 7-8 am., it was about 0 degrees outside!! But the beds are nice, and there are lots of blankets, to keep you warm. ||The breakfast is very boring, so we ate another place. ||The rooms were quiet every night, except for one; There were a couple of guys in the room next door, that were playing music and being really loud. My friend consulted them friendly, and they apologized and turned it down. They were just going out, and we wouldn't have cared, if we didn't have a trek at 5 in the morning, next day.||||They let us store our large backs, while we were doing the Salkantey trek for 5 days, even though we didn't stay there afterwards.||Very friendly, that doesn't speak english, unfortunately. But it all worked out.||||Oh, and there are some pretty heavy stairs up to the hotel, from the city, so we (2 girls, 18 and 29 years) had to stop up a couple of times and catch our breaths. You can take a cab up there, if you...

This was annoying, especially because our Spanish is not that good and their English is bad.. The next day we could move back to a privet room with bathroom. ||When we left for Manu we needed a local bus at a (very) local unknown bus station, and one of the employees explained everything on a calm half Spanish half English way and called a taxi. Very helpful! ||My only advise is to print a clear map of the hostels location so that your taxi driver can easily find it. The people who work here are kind and helpful, the hostel is clean and the view is really nice. Overall it was a very...
