Hotel Casa de Fierro Cusco — Hotel in Distrito de Cusco

We didn't even stayed in the hotel. We arrived at the desk where no one was there. We waited and rang a bell and eventually someone was coming. Then she asked how we got in. We said through the front door. She said that is weird cause it was locked. Well no it was not locked otherwise we couldn't have entered. Already a weird start. ||We first got a room, as small as a closet with and incredible big bathroom. The room did not have any window and thereby no ventilation. We decided not to accept the room and asked for another one. Got a bigger room with 3 beds, but same as the other room, again only a small window in the roof which could not open. The only ventilation the room had was by opening the door. After asking about the windows they told us that none of the rooms had windows that could open.||The bathroom was far from clean, everywhere was dust. The floor was broken and dirty (in both rooms). You could here everyone around walking and talking. We decided not even...

Cancelled our booking 2h before our arrival for no valid reason. We booked the accomodation 2 months ago on booking.com. We were supposed to arrive today evening, and today at 10am they sent us a message that our card details are invalid and they will cancel our booking if we don't update our info. We checked and verified that our details are accurate. We used this card for all our bookings and even paid with it today, but they rejected it again. Then we provided multiple other cards for them to use, but they rejected everything and cancelled our booking at 4pm today just before we were supposed to arrive in Cusco.

Now, all accommodations are sold out and we cannot find anywhere else to stay for the night. Its ridiculous that they pull this on the same day that we were supposed to arrive, they had 2 months to figure this out. We suspect that they overbooked the hotel and just needed a reason to...
