This museum offers some very interesting artworks relating to Peruvian culture and everyday experiences. They made me feel like consuming them educated me and provided a sense of novelty. I would love to give a better rating for this experience, but I was very disappointed by the combination of the museum and administrative bureau complex. The majority of rooms are used for the administration of the municipality and are therefore not available for the public. Read moreTap on the glass if the entrance guy is on his phone and doesn’t hear you to stamp your ticket. The music portion at the start was interesting and you can hold the instruments and hear the different Peru animal sounds. There were several government office spaces which caused some confusion on where to go seeing the art. More signage would be helpful. I don’t think this place is that important to visit on the tourist pass.
Bathrooms desperately need regular cleaning and maintenance. There’s no toilet paper and seats. Bring hand sanitizer and TP or go somewhere...

The few exhibits that were interesting were for sale for some reason, and one of the employees there couldn't stop bothering me with buying one of the paintings.
