This is quite a strange place. I'm not sure I understand the concept here. Everything is just like a hotel except for the fact you sleep in a tent, which is not all that pleasant and in many ways quite inconvenient. There isn't much 'eco' about it and it doesn't really achieve the glamping experience. For the price I think you can probably get somewhere better in the area.

We liked the pool area and we received nice service at breakfast and around the pool for lunch. But the sun loungers are just plastic so quite uncomfortable. We had a hammock by our tent which was good though.

Checking in the staff were grumpy, and it's really annoying to have to ring a bell to be let in all the time, especially when the staff are not always there.

The shared bathroom was not especially clean, and didn't get cleaned at all the three days I was there. One of the showers (out of two) didn't work. I think there was only one shower/toilet block, which didn't seem enough for all of the tents. Only one towel per person is provided.

The tents were super basic and a bit run down, bed was comfortable but no head board and the bedding was stained although I think it had been washed. The floor gets really sandy, it would be good to have a broom to sweep up the sand. You get a fan but it is hot in there. There is light all night and then of course the sun comes up. The mosquito net part of the tent was broken, and our padlock was really stiff.

The best thing was probably the WiFi, which was strong and consistent, and the sandboarding experience we booked from here. Also when we were there it was quite chilled, music not too loud and not loads of people getting drunk and partying, so it might be a good option for people not looking for that vibe (not sure if that is the case all the time).

Overall our stay was fine, but there are a lot of things that could be better...

So you wanna spend yo... LATIN LOUD MUSIC... But there is only an old couple can you turn the volu... YES LATIN PARTY ALL THE WAY... But sir I want to relax with my wife an... YOU SAID YOU WANT LATIN MUSIC UNTIL YOUR EARS EXPLODE??... No I just want to read a book and be chill after a day of... OF WISHING TO HEAR LATIN MUSIC UNTIL WE DIE??

apart from the obviously old, loud, Latin music that they will refuse to change, thinking that they live in an eternal party without any sense of the people around and their mood or expressed wishes... Nothing eco about it. Maybe the construction materials, but nothing ecological going on The place is a big parking lot which is sunrounded by tents and a pool, but in general, the place is mostly a parking lot. Tents have nothing to be comfy. Not even place to put your stuff. The beds and good luck. I think they exist for people who only wants to spend a day and take photos of the pool. Row of tents n1 is basically next to the parking lot, or if you get the tent 2 you are next to the kitchen, if you get the 1 you are a meter away from the barbecue... Row n3 has the only nice view, because the row 2 and 1 block the view of the parking lot, but if you are in tent n9 then you are about 80 meters away from the 'nice' bathroom. (yes, the other is not nice).

All and all, front door staff is friendly, the place is well located, next to the dunes. For the same price you can get a place with private bathroom, but this is a nice experience. Better bed than other places of...

Disappointing Experience - Would Not Recommend**||Our stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. While the room was okay, my children’s room had no hot water, and there was a horrible smell coming from the sink whenever it was turned on.||We arrived late at night and asked the receptionist about breakfast times. He informed us that breakfast starts at 8:00 AM but assured us that if we needed it earlier, we could request it. When I asked if he was the receptionist, he confirmed, so I requested breakfast for 6:00 AM, and he agreed.||However, at 6:10 AM, when we were ready for breakfast, we found the restaurant closed and dark, with no one in sight. The reception area was also dark and unattended. I had to call the hotel to figure out what was going on, and after some time, the same receptionist showed up to make us breakfast. To make matters worse, the breakfast was not included with the room, and by the time it was ready, it was too late for us to eat.||Overall, this experience was very frustrating, and I won’t be staying at this...

5 starts for the vibes, concept and location. Absolutely splendid! The tents are as basic as it gets but with the right mindset you can enjoy it for couple days! It definetly has charm and is a stand out in Hiacachina Little nice pool, amazing views, quite good food Better have your most valuable things with you all the time. Tent security is weak. Now, why the 3 stars? It s a warning for incoming guests so they know what they are getting into: We had drugged (thats what we were told) neighours next to our tent who screamed out of their trance all night. Quite scary! If you come for the vibes and location and your dont mind the noise/sketchy neighbours/weak security, this is definetly the best place around! We really enjoyed after all. But I can imagine this place can be a neightmare for others. I hope owners will address the current weak points and exploit the full potential of the place

Super clean, full- service, and gated site. We camp with our expedition vehicle. Leveled concrete pavement. Perfect for a one-day rest, hiking on the close-by dunes, or enjoying one if the activities offered by local tour operators. It’s located at the dead end of the main landscape attractions road, so, it’s super crowded in the late afternoon at sunset, but very peaceful at night and in the morning. Staff is friendly and helpful. The complimentary welcome cocktail at the rooftop terrace is appreciated. It’s not really a campground, however, the parking lot of a tented eco lodge. So, with 3 overland vehicles and the lodge guests we felt a bit “packed”. This is the only, little downside. 60 SOL per vehicles. Please, while hiking the dunes, LEAVE NO TRACE! It’s sadly plenty of garbage, and Starbucks plastic cups are left by tourists, not locals!

Absolutely the only place you should be staying in Huacachina. It’s one of the most modern places to stay in this oasis with fantastic tents that can sleep 4 people. This is what I would call true glamping in the desert with fast WiFi, electricity in the tent, pool and a restaurant with an fantastic free breakfast. They have private bathrooms so need to shower next to other people. a huge kitchen with everything you need to cook your own food. I was really impressed by this place it is its own oasis away from all the other poor quality places to stay around. P.s it does not get to hot inside the tents as they have fans and over head shading. They also have tour going everyday at very reasonable prices from dune buggies to wine tours.
