Caños del Santero Miraflores - Craft beer & burgers - Cerveza artesanal — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

I went with a friend last night to try and enter this place, but was basically refused entry. I'm not sure why this is/was, and am even wondering if it's because we weren't Peruvian. All the seats were taken, as Peru were playing against Paraguay. There was still however, lots of space. Lots of space to stand at the bar, but we were told no, by a very rude lady with glasses, who said we can sit outside. We went outside, and found only a 4 seater table and sat down at it. We were told that we had to be 4 to sit here! And so this horrible woman effectively kicked us out. There was no queue to get in, it wasn't overly crowded. I can't remember the time, but the Peru game was 85 minutes in, and about to finish. There was no indication that this place was bustling with too many people. I have never heard of or seen such stupidity like this. But ok, if you don't want our money, then...

This is my favorite restaurant I visited while in Lima, Peru!! I came because I wanted an IPA, but was shocked at the insane food quality!! I loved the burger and fries so much, I took advantage of the Tuesday BOGO 50% off a burger and got a second burger!! Andres was especially amazing and when they were out of a food item I wanted, he replaced it with something higher in value!! The IPA was incredible and so glad I could get 1L of it! The DIPA and pale were also incredible. A outstanding burger! I arrived late and was staying in a hotel across the road. I therefore wanted to just to grab a takeout so I could veg in my room after a long days travel and Caños del Santero Miraflores definitely provided that. The burger was so juicy and flavorsome, yet light and the fries were lovely crispy and salty. I also got the Caesar salad, which to be honest completely stuffed to me, but with a couple of bottles of their IPA it accumulated into a wonderful takeout meal.
