Where do I start my review, well let us start by how easy it was to book and to sign in get your bed and start your vacation or whatever you may be doing. The one thing I would recommend would be to make the entrance a little bit more noticeable as I passed it twice looking for the entrance. Other than that, I can honestly say I only have good things to say about my experience at Pariwana. ||The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the food was very very good and affordable even thou it is in a luxurious are of the city of Lima. They have a well-stocked bar and the beer are good. They do have a beer happy hour where the beers are only 10 sols so make sure to take advantage of it. ||Friday and Saturday they have DJs and dancing, I can say I had so much fun coming back to the hostel and meeting fun new people. During the week, they have fun activities like salsa and bachata classes, karaoke food tasting and tons of other activities to relax and pass the time. ||One things that influenced me the most was how clean everything was all the time. How this place runs like the best Swiss watch but with that beautiful Latin flavor we all love. However, the most important thing of all to me was the human factor; the staff really does make you feel like you are at an extension of your home. They listen and chat in a very friendly and accommodating manor and at the same time give excellent service. ||In conclusion all I can say is that I am one hundred present will be returning to Pariwana Hostel in Lima and where ever other country...

the staff is very nice, friendly and helpful! The beds are comfy and mostly with fans and AC. They added hooks to them so you can hang your jackets or towels; also every bed comes with its own light (too bright for others not to get disturbed... easy improvement option) and with a power outlet below a small place to put your things - very convenient. I absolutely loved their arcade game machine in the bar area with lots of old classics from the 80's and 90's!!!
The bad: bathrooms... there is not enough space to put your clothes. You almost always end up putting stuff onto the toilet. Also in some bathrooms they placed the metal thing for your stuff above the toilet at a height at which tall people always bump there head when trying to flush it. Peruvians won't notice of course but us tourists will... the worst though was the water pressure and the consistency of the temperature. Some rooms have basically no pressure at all and those that are better in this regard kept changing from the temperature that I enjoyed to either really cold or, more often, to really hot.
The bar area and terrace lacked the fun spirit of the cusco house... a bit of color and a bit more decoration could make all the difference.
All in all a good hostel that needs a caring hand at a few places to be as nice as its big brother in...
Read morePariwana served as my base in Lima, Peru. It is a cool, hip place with a restaurant/bar and communal space at the top of the stairs. The beds are equipped with charging stations and night-lights, and there are lockers for your stuff. This is a very well-run place, and while some of the hostel guests may be there to party some, the staff are a professional group who will help you with whatever you need--directions, transport, and so forth. They provide safe taxis to the airport for a reasonable 50 soles, even at weird hours of the night. Indeed, the reception desk is manned 24/7, so there will always be someone there to assist you.||||Its location at the heart of Miraflores can't be beat. Miraflores is a great town for walking, exploring, and eating. As a vegan, I found numerous excellent restaurants nearby, and the options for non-vegans will be even better. The city metro is only a few blocks away--that's a relatively easy way to get to the historical center of Lima if you don't want to pay for a taxi or Uber ride. A walk to views of the Pacific Ocean takes only 15-20 minutes.||||I highly recommend Pariwana if you are staying in Lima, wish to meet people, and/or are on a budget. I had no trouble booking a bed here, but it was getting great business even in these pandemic times, so I imagine, as things further open up, this place will fill up, so be sure to...
