Hotel Casa Suyay — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

Regrettably there was no water throughout our stay at the hotel. Our group of 5 arrived from the airport tired and in need of a shower, only to find the taps and shower dry. I tried to call reception to discuss but the in room phone wasn't working. After walking from the top floor to reception I was informed that the water hadn't been working for a while. Why would you not inform your guests of this when checking in??||No water when we arrived back later that evening and no water when we left very early the following morning. We asked for bottled water so we could wash and this was declined. Unacceptable. ||The hotel itself is very noisy and you can hear every word other guests say as they arrive and leave. The room was clean and tidy which is the only positive and the reason for a 2* review.||I'm still trying to resolve the water issue now but Casa Suyay have steadfastly ignored Booking.Com for many weeks. This was a great find in Miraflores especially for the price they offer. The location is unbeatable; right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Miraflores within walking distance to everywhere. We stayed here for one night. The rooms are decent - they were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom shower was one of the best with high water pressure. They have hot water in the bathrooms and heating in the rooms. Also, it didn't get noisy. The morning breakfast was quite good with plenty of options, and it was replenished frequently as the guests ate. The hotel lobby is gorgeous with exquisite decorations; you can spend hours there itself. And we can't mention enough about how courteous and helpful the staff was with utmost hospitality. This was a lovely experience; we'll consider staying here again...

We arrived here after a long flight and hour and a half transfer from the airport absolutely exhausted. The lobby was lovely, v quirky, and the lady who checked us in very helpful. That sadly is where the positives ended!||We were given a room at the back of the hotel. The room was fine, nothing special but ok, but we were next to a nightclub, we could literally hear the lyrics of the songs and it didn’t stop until 4am! ||Breakfast was a brioche type roll and cold coffee and the gentleman on reception in the morning was||v unhelpful.||Did we ask to move rooms? No because we were knackered and couldn’t hear the thought of having to||Move. That’s why I haven’t given a one or two as unfair when they didn’t have the chance to rectify but honestly give this place a miss and stay at one of the hundreds of other...
