What a ripoff and absolutely disgusted with the way my transaction went down with them. We arenât from Peru, we came for a trip with friends. Prior to the trip I reached out via IG to see how getting in would work. We were a total of 8 people and they reached out that they would be willing to give us 5 free entrances with the purchase of the other 3. Well I had asked if we needed to do something or if this would all work at the door? They responded, yes at the door. Well we got there and the bouncer who thought he was an officer, let me know that no thatâs not how it worked. We needed a QR code to get in. And thatâs how many people were getting in at the same time that we had shown up. Something I wasnât given nor was there any information pointing to needing that prior in my conversation with them. We ended up having to pay to get in 100 soles per person. The drinks were lousy and the environment was not as elite as I had seen it to be. There was a lack of circulation in the place as well. Was way too muggy and hot. It was such a shame because we were truly looking forward to having a good time and it ended up messing up our night. Whatâs worse is that when I wrote them to let them know how dissatisfied I was they told me that the free entrance was based on availability and timing, lack of accountability. Yet, there was people getting in for free with the QR codes at the same time that we had shown up. And the club wasnât full at that time either. It started getting packed at around 2:30am-3am. Felt extremely taken advantage of. Iâm posting pictures of my...
Read moreIâm writing to express my disappointment regarding an incident that occurred during my recent visit. My sister-in-law, a woman of color from Guyana, faced discrimination from a fake blond light skinned woman who asked her to step down from a ladder, claiming it was under her âpaid box.â This behavior was not only classist but also racially discriminatory, as it singled her out despite other Peruvian girls being present at the same ladder that werenât from her group.
As someone who values inclusivity, I was shocked to witness this in a place that should celebrate diversity. Such actions reflect poorly on your establishment and can deter potential visitors and tourists. We arenât on the 1950s any more and it is thanks to tourists that you feed your staff.
I hope you take this matter seriously and work towards creating a more welcoming environment for all.

Read moreThis bar advertises a completely insane 150s./ cover charge to enter although it seems like absolutely everyone who goes is "on the list" and doesn't pay. Inside you can find typical Peruvian cocktails and spirits in the pricey range. Beers are about 15s./and cocktails are about 30s./ Ambiance is nice, but they pack it to the rafters and it transforms into a club around 1am and hit you with the typical top 40 bar soundtrack....
