La Unsha Hostel — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

I love La Unsha!!! It has everything you need when you are in Lima! Located in a great are of Barranco within a couple minutes to the action in the center of town. The beds are comfortable and have curtains to give you that extra privacy. There are bathrooms in each room or right outside and enough to ensure there isn’t a line waiting to use them. The lobby has a nice reception, bikes to rent, public transportation passes, info on Lima and surrounding Peru areas as well as a nice TV room with Netflix, fútbol games, cable, and books. Kitchen is well equipped with plenty of space for multiple people to work on their Dinner plans. a lot of seating to have big group dinners, storage spaces for your food and this opens up into the super large back yard with a bunch of couches, hammocks, and areas to read, play, and hang out. This really is an amazing hostel, but what puts this place over the top is the owner Sandra. She makes sure that your time at the hostel is great. She really cares about her place and Barranco. Hot shower is the best!!!!! Water's power is strong and enough hot, soooo perfect!!!!! The staff is really friendly and nice, help me to think about my problem, so kind!! The breakfast is good, especially the bread and toast, I can't stop eating haha. Wifi is good and we can put luggage after check in. If you want to use computer or TV, they also have free computer for using. Location is good, near plaza and beach, only around 10~15 minutes by walk. House and room is really clean and comfortable. Ein Stern ist noch zu viel. Das einzigsten was reibungslos funktioniert ist das Ein-Aus-checken und WLAN. Ich kann diese vielen positiven Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Zum einen liegt das Hostel direkt an einer Straße die zum einen laut ist und zum anderen extrem nach Abgasen stinkt. Im Hostel selber ist es extrem laut. Gäste schlagen rücksichtslos Türen und das zu jeder Tages und Nachtzeit. Zum anderen die Betreiber, die selber von morgens bis nachts Musik hören oder den Fernseher laut haben. Auch verstehe ich nicht wie man etwas als sauber bezeichnen kann was nicht sauber ist. Die Dusche ist dreckig, von der Decke bröckelt die Farbe. Schimmel im Zimmer wurde mit Lackfarbe überstrichen. Alles in allem könnte man hier einiges verbessern. (Wenn man nur wollte !) Angefangen von Angestellten (Bis auf Eine), die sich wohl am meisten für sich selber interessieren. Rücksichtnahme ist in diesem Hostel eine Fremdsprache. Wer es normal, ruhig, sauber haben möchte, sollte hier definitiv nicht absteigen. Ach ja und noch ein Tipp. Wer trotzdem hier absteigt: Aus dem Hostel raus und nach rechts laufen. Kommt ein sehr gut sortierter Supermarkt in dem man alles bekommt und definitiv billiger als im Hostel. Gleich daneben kann man sehr gute Hamburger Essen. Natürlich auch zum halben Preis.
