Hostal Inti House — Hotel in Machu Picchu

I feel horrible giving this place a bad review because the people at the front desk are friendly and my friend really enjoyed their massage service (she said the woman was really friendly)! That's about all I can say about this place, though. It's extremely loud and echo-y. I can usually sleep through everything but they have cartoons blasting on the first floor up until around midnight, which didn't help when I wanted to wake up at 4 AM for Machu Picchu. Every voice and snore echoes in this place. It's good enough to crash after a long day hiking, but nothing else. It's dingy and there are definitely better places to stay. Stay here if you're on a budget and just need a roof over your head...

O Inti House Inn é um hotel de baixo custo e como tal bem simples. No térreo tem um restaurante/pizzaria que pode incomodar os hóspedes. Não foi o nosso caso porque quando voltamos do jantar, por volta das 22h, estava vazio. Nossa família ocupou dois quartos. Toalhas grandes e macias, TV, hidromassagem. Em um dos quartos tinha secador de cabelos. O grande diferencial é a qualidade de atendimento. A sra Lourdes nos indicou um restaurante que parece pertencer ao mesmo grupo, e ligou para lá informando que iríamos e com isso recebemos um excelente atendimento, comida boa e drinks de cortesia. No dia seguinte almoçamos em outro local para conhecer (e comparar) e constatamos a diferença, ou seja, ela nos indicou algo de qualidade que cabia em nosso bolso. O café da manhã (desayuno) era às 06h, mas ao explicarmos que precisávamos estar em Machu Picchu mais cedo para subir Wayna Picchu prontamente se comprometeu a servi-lo às 05h, e assim o fez....

I had a massage here, did not stay. My hotel recommended me. Eve was great. A must after hiking Huaynapicchu. Don't know what the rest of masseuse a like. But for sure would go back to Eve. Sad that they are not recognized on Google...
