Pirwa Hostel Machu Picchu — Hotel in Machu Picchu

I booked 2 trips with Pirwa travel. On the first trip -a horseback riding trip to devil's balcony I wasn't told where I was or given the opportunity to see the caves (the highlight of the advertised trip). The trip was advertised as lasting 4 hours, it lasted 2 and a half. On my second trip I wasn't picked up from my hotel. For over 2 hours I called Pirwa with no response. I also emailed. The trip was scheduled for 4/25 I didn't receive an email response from them until 5/4. Long after I was back in the US. I had find their location, walk to it, and wait there for another hour before someone met me. They did then agree to pay the 10 sole entrance fee to the salt mines and transport me that day, but the trip was cut short by 3 hours. In addition, the 'private transport' was a unsafe car without seat belts that continued to pass vehicles in unpassible areas in order to get to the sites 'quickly'. I had 10 minutes at the salt mines and 10 minutes at moray and was not able to ride the ATV to the ending location due to time restrictions. We stayed one night in this hostel as this was included in our two day and one night trip to Machu Picchu.|If you have the change, do yourself a favor and choose a different hostel. Even though it is called Aguas Calientes, you must be lucky to get hot water from the shower. I only got some for a few minutes after I had complaint at the reception. They even advertise warm water, what a joke.|Our room was also not clean. The bath room doesn't look nice and the blanket was dirty. We have complaint about this and we were told, it would be changed. Nevertheless nobody cared and nothing was changed.|We also inquired about breakfast bags, because breakfast was included in our fare. However at 4.30 am nobody was at the reception and there was no breakfast, even though it was agreed and also advertised in the hostel that breakfast is from 4 am.||All in all very disappointing stay! I believe they now want to run under the name Illapa...

I'm not sure what to say. The bad. This hotel was included in a tour package. The bathroom window is broken. The mosquitos infested the shower at night with the light and moisture. I woke up with bites all over body. The room was missing towels. The room was missing toilet paper. I expected a little more. Please improve on these things for future travelers.
