Tierra In — Hotel in Machu Picchu

Hotel Tierra In is in the best location in Machu Picchu pueblo. It is close to everything but also very quiet so you can take a good rest at night. The rooms are modern with and inviting smell and the beds are very comfortable. You cannot hear any noise from other rooms which is very important to me. The breakfast was awesome and you can choose the time so they have everything fresh and made at the moment. They had scramble eggs, orange juice natural and fresh, fruits, different type of breads, yogurt, coffee, milk, butter, cereals ham, cheese, jam. Everything with excellent quality. They also met us at the train station and were very kind and friendly, gave us recommendations on where to eat and buy the tickets to the bus to get to the archeological park. The property is clean and comfortable. Our triple room was a great choice for this trip with my two adult children. The hotel is on the main street, right where shuttle buses turn around for Machu Picchu. That makes it convenient, but also a bit noisy at night. The stream that runs downhill beyond the road provides for a picturesque scene, but can also be noisy. That said, we all slept well. This was a great overnight hotel option before our 6am tour in Machu Picchu. The hotel is modern and clean and the staff were wonderful, they even prepared us a packed breakfast for free.

Only 4 stars for the room as I think it would benefit from black out curtains due to the street lights outside and the shower seemed to have a few of the sprays that were blocked but both were not that much of an inconvenience.
