We booked a room for 4 people, but one of us ended up not coming because they were sick. ||There was only one person in the staff for the days we stayed there. He was friendly and calm, but it was a bit hard to reach him, since he wasn’t always in the reception and we had to find a number to text him when we needed him.||The room we stayed in for 3 people had 3 single beds, a window, a bathroom, two tiny sidle tables, one chair and one place to hang some things.||Our bathroom had a leak and the floor kept getting wet, but we warned the staff and he wanted to fix it at the same time we told him what was happening.||There is no place to put your higiene products on the bathroom. You have to make it not fall from the sink. ||The shower has hot water and the sink too We had not problems with that. ||The towels are good. ||The sheets in the bedroom didn’t look very clean, but maybe that’s just because they were already yellowish in color. ||Regarding breakfast it was ok. It started later than it said it would, but I think we were the only guests in the hotel that day, so maybe the staff was waiting for us to come down. They had black coffee, bread, cheese, strawberry yogurt on the table and he brought us scrambled eggs, milk and a red jelly. ||They have a place where you can store your luggage when you’re exploring the city but have already checked out of the hotel. ||The wifi is the biggest downside. It doesn’t work well at all outside the reception hall.||The access to the hotel is easy, because the city is very small, so it is easy to find, however the street that gives access to the hotel door is very irregular and we did not see any cars going down that street. But it is a short street so if you don’t have any hand luggage, only backpacks it...
Read moreDespite the hotel’s location, which is just a bit off the main road in town and that is currently unpaved. the hotel was a haven to return to at the end of the day. Our room was as described and was clean and orderly. The water pressure and hot water that was available in our shower was great which is an added bonus in Peru. We were provided with soap and shampoo. We were able to store our luggage which was placed in a locked and orderly closet. They provided a to-go breakfast for us on the day we went to Macchu Picchu that consisted of fresh fruit, a juice box, soda crackers and a Peruvian version of a granola bar. Very thoughtful. We were able to enjoy their breakfast the next day which was very nice: coffee/hot tea, juice, bread, fruit, yoga, Peruvian cereal, eggs and butter/jam. The entire staff was very nice and welcoming and really did their best to assist us...
Read moreI stayed here in early June 2024. This is quite a gem at the end of a gravel road. You can see the colorful rooms and landscaping. The manager was very accommodating. He carried our bags to and from our clean and comfortable rooms. They made freshly scrambled eggs for us in the morning. There was coca and other varieties of tea. We stayed one night, they held our bags when we went to Machu Picchu for a night, and then we stayed on our return. Definitely try this place, close to the site, square, restaurants, and I believe a 15-minute walk...
