The great reviews led me here, but unfortunately, my party was very disappointed. We ordered the lomo saltado pumpkin soup and ceviche. For the price I would expect better quality food and better preparation.
The meat was extremely overcooked and dry. The fries had no flavor. We have had this entrée several times in Peru across all ranges of prices and this is by far the worst.
The ceviche was also not good. The pumpkin soup was probably the best thing we had, but I would save your time

The meals look good but they are overpriced and the portions are small. The main veggi meal for 40sol would serve as a starter or a snack with drinks. The serving looks big but they trick you with the size of bowls which are very shallow. Only 2 small tortillas (bad quality- soft, wet) are not enough to fill an adult person. And I am quite small. Read moreThe food: combo dinner dish (alpaca/lamb/beef) was delicious. We switched out the side salad for a second side of potatoes and Im so glad we did! Potatoes were well seasoned, and the accompanying sauces were all delicious. Cacao and muña teas were good too. Skip the tamales; there was no filling.
The portions: one main dish + one appetizer was enough food for two adults to share and be satiated, but not stuffed.
The setting: scenic 2nd story with little balcony overlooking the square and nearby ruins in the mountains.
The service: decent. There is a 3% service fee if you pay with...
