We recently ate here and it turned out to be a bad choice. A chicken dish (38 soles) we ordered had only a small amount of chicken and filled out with potatoes. Worse to come was when we ordered the bill and found that for one of the dishes, instead of the 18 soles as per on the menu they had written 38 soles. Now, sure people make mistakes and that may be what genuinely happened. I am not so sure as after seeing the error, I asked to see the menu again and when they returned they knew exactly why I had asked to see the menu and immediately adjusted the bill. Make of that what you will but there are plenty of other options in town. We stayed 5 days here and never had any problems...
Read moreWe had the tourist menu with chicken for 15 soles which was quite well. The service is more than poor. We waited over one hour for the food. First we received the salad after 45 minutes. Some time later the main dish. At that time (over 70 minutes later) we still have not received our drinks. We asked 3 times for the lemonade, which was included in the menu. We ended eating the food WITHOUT anything to drink. We went down to pay and told them, that we would not pay the full price because we didn't receive our lemonade. As a ridiculous compensation the cashier offered us a small bottle of water, which we refused. In the end we paid 5 soles less and left the restaurant...

We‘ve been already twice and definitely coming back again. I think this person who wrote the last review could reflect over herself maybe? We were sitting 2 tables away. Buzzing cutlery on plates and talking to each other as loud as if they were sitting in a bar, eating up in 5 minutes and than complaining about the food? Seems weird to me and unfair.
