My overall experience at this hotel was excellent, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The property is beautiful and very well maintained, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The location is ideal if you want to enjoy the nearby reserve — you can easily spend a day exploring and then come back to unwind. It feels peaceful, like a place where you can actually slow down and recharge.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated that there were a few pillow options. I do like a very dark room for sleeping, and while the curtains did a decent job, they weren’t true blackout curtains. Some light does sneak in around the edges in the morning, which might bother very light sleepers.
One area that could be improved is the gym. It was pretty basic and had limited equipment. For someone who likes to keep up with workouts while traveling, it felt a little lacking. A few more machines or free weights would make it much better.
Breakfast and dining were very enjoyable. The breakfast spread was plentiful, fresh, and a nice way to start the day before heading out. They had a good variety of options — from eggs and fresh fruit to breads, cereals, and coffee. Service at breakfast was just as excellent as the rest of the hotel. The wait staff was attentive and quick to clear tables, refill coffee, and check in to make sure we had everything we needed. If you decide to eat other meals on-site, the menu had a nice selection and was reasonably priced for the quality.
The highlight of the entire stay was the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. It almost felt like they could sense when we were about to ask for something — they would be ready before we even approached. Whether it was directions, extra towels, or recommendations for what to do nearby, they were always eager to help and did so with a smile.
Aside from the minor things I mentioned — the gym and curtains — everything about the stay was great. Those were just personal pet peeves and didn’t take away from the experience at all.
If you’re coming here, be ready to relax, enjoy the peaceful setting, and let the staff take care of you. Spend time in the reserve, enjoy the grounds, and savor the great service. This hotel is more than just a place to stay — it’s a key part of making your trip memorable. I left feeling refreshed and very happy with my choice, and I would...
Read moreWe visited Aranwa Paracas during a family trip to Peru. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. I made all the reservations very easily from the U.S. before the start of our trip.
Our trip included my husband and I, our two teenagers, and my father. We stayed in a family suite, which had a great view to the pool and the bay from our balcony. We traveled to Paracas from Lima on Cruz del Sur bus lines. The station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
From the start we were welcomed and made to feel valued. It was the off-season so nothing was crowded. Our room was pleasant and clean.
We enjoyed several meals at the on site restaurant. Breakfast buffet was included with our stay. It was simply awesome! The lunch and dinner menu was a good selection of traditional Peruvian dishes. We also ate at the bar a couple times which has smaller portions and appetizers. Both were great options.
There are plenty of activities to keep you busy. Two big pools, tennis courts, volleyball, plus a daily list of activities including cooking classes, bonfires, movies, and more. Saturday had live music and a a bbq cookout on the patio.
It is a short walk along the beach into town. Lots of shops and restaurants. There are tons of extras to do if you want and the reception area at the hotel has a tour office where you can buy packages for different things. We did a boat trip to the Ballestas islands to observe sea lions and took a flight to see the Nazca Lines.
We really appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. The star of the show was Carmen who was our waitress several times. She did a phenomenal job. Others who provided great service were Nicole, Diego, and Juan (in reception). Truly great service.
We would definitely return or visit one of their other locations. Thanks for...
Read moreBeautiful resort. Two pools plenty of space for kids to run and have fun. Gorgeous cabanas at the pool to get away from sun but near the pool. They had a movie night the day i went for kids.. and it was out in the outdoor canopy area. Super cute, they played toy story. The beds and room was amazing and the staff was very nice all of them.. seriously all of them.
There are a few things they need to improve. 1. The internet, very spotty internet in certain rooms and certain parts of the rooms The bathrooms very hard to get into the tub/shower for older people or young kids. For reasons i can't understand they raised the tub very high The bathrooms - there is this two piece glass supposedly to keep the water from coming out of shower and it's clear it doesn't looking under the sink you can see water stains on walls and floor. The bathrooms- the actual shower looked outdated and didn't mesh well with the rest of the room or bathroom. Don't get me wrong the place was clean but tiles didn't seem to flow
So my take away is it's s great place to stay it's clean and it has a lot to do for those that don't want to leave or can't for whatever reason depending on the activity you have planned for the day. I just hated the bathrooms. To give them the benefit of the doubt they might be just leaving remodeling the bathrooms for last as it seems everything else is up to date and amazing..
The location is very close to where you take the boat to go on tours and to the little town. Literally walking distance. I walked it myself from the beach and...
