Hostal Mendieta — Hotel in Paracas

Family run hostel, not professional. We stayed for 1 night as it was the cheapest for a private room and bathroom. Check in was good, staff were friendly and showed us to our room. After check in you could hear the family arguing loudly as well as watching TV with high volume, where another guest has to ask them to turn it down. In the morning they played the radio extremely loud and early which isnt very professional. The bathroom was clean which was nice, our pillows had hairs on them which gives you the feeling there...

Zunächst einmal hatte ich ein Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht. Als ich ankam und mein Zimmer kein Balkon besaß, fragte ich nach und bekam als Antwort, dass doch der Innenhof, wo sich das Treppenhaus und ein kleiner Aufenthaltsbereich befand, mein Balkon ist. Da es schon spät war, hatte ich keine Lust groß zu diskutieren und fehlende Spanischkenntnisse machten es vermutlich unmöglich. Trotzdem sollte es nicht als Zimmer mit Balkon angeboten werden. ||Das Zimmer war sauber, aber von der Ausstattung nichts besonderes. Im Bad war auch das nötigste vorhanden.|Ein Nachteil an dem Innenhof war, dass es wunderbar schallt und man somit sämtliche Gespräche mithören konnte (oder Geschrei der 1,5 Jahre alten Tochter, der Besitzerin). Ich habe mich mittlerweile an viele Lautstärken gewöhnt, aber falls man empfindlichere Ohren hat, wäre es nicht zu empfehlen. |Ebenfalls unverschämt fand ich den Preis für ca 1,5 kg Wäsche. Sie haben dafür 30 soles verlangt. (In Cusco bspw Normalpreis 3 soles/kg)||Das Frühstück war auch nichts besonderes. Etwas Brot, Tee oder Kaffee und etwas Marmelade. Da ich gerne Früchte zum Frühstück habe, hätte ich mir wenigstens Früchte oder einen Saft gewünscht. Das war in anderen Hostels meist Standart.||Das Personal war trotz alledem freundlich. Das Hostel gehört einer Familie und alle waren stets bemüht einem weiterzuhelfen.||Für den Preis gibt es aber definitiv bessere Hostels, in die man investieren kann!...
