The hotel is beautiful, the food is fantastic, the room was nice with some mold in the shower. We saw all 5 of the big 5, but our guide was a level 1. This was quite frustrating because he did not find the big 5 on his own only after other guides called in the animals on the radio. We never got to see the process of tracking and finding the animals. We did close to the animals in the vehicle. The vehicles were good in that the bumps were not too bad, we had stadium seating so all 3 rows could see at one time. We had 6 people which was comfortable, but the truck held 9 and that would be uncomfortable as you needed to lean in to avoid branches. ||While taking a walking trek with a far more experiences guide it became really obvious how inexperienced our guide was because the other guide taught along the way, as our guide was really focusing on driving and the radio. Although the resort was beautiful there are few wild life to see while on the property and those you saw were at a great distance. ||Good side was the resort entrance is right across the street from the airport, but about 10-15 minute drive inside the gate. With 3 days and 2 nights we were able to do 4 drives two am and 2 pm as well as a walking trek. The guides really worked together to help everyone see the big 5. The food was exceptional and served am coffee and pastry, am drive, breakfast, relax at the pool walking drive, lunch, afternoon tea, pm drive, then dinner. ||This is outside of the Kruger National Park. It is a private reserve that is large and the animals really are wild. We saw a leopard eating it’s kill in a tree at night and again in the morning. We saw another elapsed on the ground. We saw Rhinos twice. We saw buffalo a few times. We saw lions in a group of 6 laying for a nap. Then we saw a lion drinking water. We saw elephants once in a group with a baby and an elephant knocked a tree over to...

The room was fairly basic compared to where we were meant to be staying, but it had a nice homely feel and everything we needed. The layout of the hotel is lovely - all the rooms look out onto the pool and there is also a bar by the pool (breakfast is served here in the morning). Helpful and friendly staff. Don’t be put off by the building work happening at the front of the hotel - once you walk past this you will be in the small...
