We had booked 2 nights at this hostel with one night in the middle to have on Lake Titticaca, the incompetence of this place started before we even arrived when we got an e mail saying they would not guarantee our booking unless we deposit the money for it into the account details they provided. I replied and said this was not possible and that this was not normal practice. |When we arrived it was early and the woman who greeted us was incredibly slow and had no idea how to check in guests. It took about 30mins to find our booking and room. |Rooms are average at best, but are not the worst in Peru.|We asked if we could have breakfast on the morning we checked in (willing to pay extra for it) and was abruptly told that we could have it that day but wouldn't be allowed it the next day. We were given 2 steal bread rolls and some butter and Jam, while it seemed every other guest eating breakfast at the time was offered their choice of eggs.|We don't speak Spanish but have been travelling for 2 months and have picked up enough to get by and tried very hard everywhere to speak the local language but at this hostel (where no staff speak any English) it seems you are punished for not being able to converse.|We left our bags for the middle night of our stay (again this seemed to be an inconvenience for the staff) and upon our return for the next night (I wouldn't of stayed again if it wasn't that they had made us pay already) they were just as useless! We didn't even try to have breakfast the second time and tried to avoid the staff at all costs! ||Would...
