We stayed here for 2 nights before the Titicaca overnight tour and we came back for another night before going to Arequipa.||We are 100% satisfied with the room and the staff with what we paid, for the first 2 nights.||However, something horrible happened on the morning of the last day.||Soles 400 (more than USD100) were stolen in our room during our breakfast time in the top floor.||We counted our money in our bag the night before and therefore we knew clearly how much cash we have.||When we finished our breakfast and went back to our room and ready for checkout, we counted our money again and found out Soles 400 were gone.||We were pretty sure that it is done by one of the staff because they have the room key and it's quite impossible to have thieves from the street.||We told the staff and they were all surprised what happened. We insisted to call Police or if someone returned the Soles 400 to us then we will not call the Police.||The staff "helped" us to search the hotel and in our room, hoping to find the money.||"Surprisingly", one of the staff "found" the Soles 400 in the rubbish bin in our toilet.||Obviously we know what has happened. The staff realised that we wanted to call the Police and therefore he found a way to return the money to us.||I am not sure whether only one staff is the thief or they worked together (there were 3 staff in total).||But with this incident, I will NOT recommend this...

Never arrived with the heater or an extra blanket. One of the people working there offered to arrange transportation from Puno to cusco, but didn't communicate any of the information to the male receptionist. After he organized a tour of lake titicaca for us (stupidly thinking they would be on the same page) got back to the hotel to check out, only to find they were charging us for three nights. Yes, I understand there are checkout times, however none of the information was posted and we were not informed of any of it. 50 soles a night (not too bad), however hot water was hard to come by, no breakfast included and whenever we went out for a meal, as we returned to the hotel, we found it locked up and would have to bang on the window (as well as ring the bell) before getting a...
Read moreLow price hotel that could be lots better if staff were more aware of their paying guests!||They put us in the room nearest the stairs one floor up from reception, probably out of laziness as the room was dark and poky and nothing like the pics from the booking site.||This meant we heard all activity up and down the stairs as well as the door bell going off constantly and more annoyingly at 6am, as well as staff causing a racket among themselves down in reception at the crack of dawn!||Please also note that the heaters shown in the photos aren't actually in the rooms, not ours anyway, and for some reason it was freezing everywhere inside the hotel even if it was hot and sunny outside!||Our bath tub was filthy with grime and did not drain while showering.||Room was otherwise clean and breakfast had the usual bread and jam but freshly made...
