Staff is ok, service fine, restaurant is nice and is on the walking street, location good. The hotel is very old, terrible elevator, i had a suite with separate bedroom and balcony but its not nice and feels extremely empty, many lights are not working, the balcony has view overlooking walking street but its too dark, no bulbs in the lamps, so balcony has no purpose. No cups or glass in room, no slippers, no water boiler, no toothbrush, but at least shampoo is included, also 2 complimentary bottles of water. Aircon is good, there are 2 in the suite, also two big TVs with ok channel selections but no channel guide. Theres also a safe, very important if you are planning to hook up. Wifi was ok too. The price seemed fine for a suite but i cant say its good value, still acceptable though. The food is not great from the looks of it but good enough. Coffee is just fine, sufficient but it has a side flavor of local purified water. Breakfast was fine, unpleasant typical local eggs, but to make up for it the English Breakfast came with 3 decently sized bangers that tasted ok. Not great but...
Read moreI use it mainly for short times, which are P600. The rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors are all the same. Big with a big bed and long sofa. Many pillows. Free water. The showers have the most problems. Some spray water all over the place. Sometimes the hot and cold water pressures are different so you can't get the right temperature. The quality of the the aircons is variable. Some work great and some never get the room cool enough. There are 6 rooms on the ground floor. They are a lot smaller. They have cool blue lights if you want them. There are 2 rooms on the 4th floor. They have a bedroom, living room and access to the relatively small swimming pool. I never watch TV, but it's all internet TV, not cable. The staff is good and responsive. It's the best location of any hotel on walking(RED) street. They had a small restaurant but it closed. The owner, Dan, is trying to get a replacement. But you can but drinks and hang out watching the people go by. The elevator doesn't work so the 4th floor is a painful hike. There is a bar next to the hotel so you hear faint music on...
