Spectacular! With my keto/carnivore diet it can be a challenge finding meals at any restaurant, especially in ASEAN countries. I chose a chef salad with Italian dressing this case assuming the dressing would not have sugar which was correct. I thought the salad may not be enough so added a side Swiss Chalet sausage. When I see a menu item with a restaurant name , I figure it is a signature dish. Boy was I wrong regarding the portions. Either was enough and I could not finish both. The salad was a mountain of fresh goodies. No quality was spared and appreciated the real ham, not some packed ham like other places, Swiss cheese and the quail eggs, a really nice touch. There were many ingredients included with the salad constructed in a way that could skip some of them due to diet concerns such as the beets, potato and slaw which may have sugar. The rest included all you would expect in a chef salad plus some things you would not such as grilled onion and peppers. The Swiss Chalet sausage was enormous and assume handmade on site along with many other sausage options. It came bacon wrapped and stuffed with cheese. The restaurant atmosphere was great and felt like many places I would visit when in Switzerland. It is indoors with AC set just right, a nice break from a hot day. The servers were cheerful and very helpful anticipating my needs. I could tell they were very happy and took pride in the restaurant. I only wish I found this place earlier in my trip so only have one day left to try again but will definitely make this my preferred place on my next trip to Angeles and one that I refer...

since 2004 I know swiss chalet and it is still my favorite restaurant ever !!! they have real swiss foods but also asian foods like Thai and Filipino dishes... its a must try for food lovers.. u will be impressed.. the prices are almost like before ten years, so its really worth the delicious foods! I have my favorites like fondues like with meat or even the swiss cheese fondue, masarap!!! then of course the imported beef steaks or the special "gordon bleu Switzerland" with nudels, a pork steak with special ham and cheese inside, absolutely my favorite, or the beef tender tips with nudels, aslo a try must be the special nudels called, spätzle!!! the of course a swiss special is the zürcher geschnetzeltes, pork steaks with mushrooms cream sauce and as a sideorder u can choose between nudels or fries or mashed potatoes or more like vegetables and dont forget the salad buffet, where urselfs can choose what salad u wanted!! good wines and beers and drinks an and befor u pay, a special swiss coffee with a shot liquor inside.. and a dessert.. guaranteed a beautiful dinner with the most best and friendly waiters and security guards in the Philippines!!! u guys all make a great job since the first time I go inside I never have a complain, and I always have in other...

Just want to say that i have been going to this place to eat as usual each time i go to the phils over the years .My complaint was that I ordered a T bone Steak and and to my horror when served the blood was running off the plate and red and cold in the middle . The steak was not cooked despite asking for it to be medium well done. The eggs were like leather cooked on a hotplate and black both sides despite asking that they be cooked sunny side up . I had asked to speak to Hans and was informed he was away on holidays so i asked to speak to the chef that had cooked my meal . The cook come out from the kitchen to speak with me and quickly informed me that he was co owner in the business with Hans . This guy was not interested in what i had to say except to voice his opinion that my meal was cooked to my instructions . Lets hope the place improves when Hans returns .. Maybe the co owner needs to get a new job because he certainly cannot cook and take a course in customer management . Ken...

Well, to be fair, i gave it 1 star for rooms because i dont have any basis since i did not stay there. 1 star for location because it's in the red light district of the city. Parking is soooo bad. BUUUUTTTT! The food and the service is superb! If you'll see the restaurant, it's like an old german restaurant. We go here for the steak and rosti. It's really One of the best rostis ive ever had. It's even better than most german restaurants we've been to in Austria. Goulash is good too. Also, if you miss german potato salad, (you know, the one that is really sour) then you're in for a treat. Plus the servers are very accommodating and they know what to recommend.

The beer and food are very good. The atmosphere is homey and rustic. Waitresses are very hospitable and welcoming. During the day, it's not too busy - so you'll get your seat, plus get served promptly. At night however, it's a good idea to reserve a table ahead of time. Parking is difficult for cars; there's only 1 spot for a 4 wheeled vehicle. Bikes park across the street. If you're a guest at Central Park, there's a parking garage available.
