MRJJ Residences — Hotel in Angeles

Positives – Good living and kitchen area. ||||Negatives – Tired in places, small and cramped shower/toilet area, small TV, no facilities to pay by card, breakfast not worth bothering with.||||Details||The Hotel is located a 5 minute walk from the main road. Location OK if not in the centre of things.||||I stayed for 3 nights in November 2017. The cost for the apartment with a king sized bed including breakfast was £79.||||The separate bedroom had a large bed and a wardrobe but does not feel spacious – no bedside tables – not enough room for this. It had a good safe. The living area is good – sofa, table and chairs and kitchen area including a fridge and microwave plus a small stove. I didn’t use any f the kitchen facilities and always ate out.||||The TV had plenty of channels but is very small and located in the living area.||||The general décor is fine but it is tatty in places – e.g. the air con unit was damaged with missing grills. BTW the air con in the bedroom and the other unit in the dining area worked well but with no remote.|||| The toilet wash basin and shower room is a disappointment. You have to squeeze into it, with your knees up against the wall when you sit on the loo.||||Shower jell is provided but precious little else.||||The free Wi-Fi was good and free working well on all of my devices. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. ||||The room was not serviced regularly. You could not pay for the room with a credit card without going to the sister hotel which is where breakfast was provided. – I didn’t bother with it as I looked at the menu in that sister hotel which was very basic. ||||Overall unless you want the kitchen facilities I would not recommend staying there and would give it 6 out of 10. given that I have stayed at better and...

We have just had three weeks here, I had heard about Mrjjs previosly but never had been able to get a room there. They only have eight apartments standard and Deluxe. two choices of rates, all inclusive or you can pay for the utilities used. We had a deluxe suite, one bedroom with small kitchen, large lounge room with a fold out sofa bed. Air cons in bedroom and another in the lounge room. The residences are located just off the main roads therefore are very quiet. Flat screen TV with full cable, medium size fridge. Screen doors ,front and rear ,all windows have screens. I Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone in fact I have already booked in for our next trip in October. The Staff were very helpful and polite, the security guard at the gate included. The office opens from 7.00 am until 11.00 pm at night with an assistant there overnight to issue your key after your night out. These suites are non smoking with a table and chairs per room are provided in the undercover area just outside your room for smokers. I believe they also have a free grocery delivery service when shopping at their supermarket on the main street. I believe they are at present they are having their own website built, At the moment you go through their sister building 950 Condotel. Very clean and quiet. Place was nice, clean, etc and friendly but impossible to sleep. It's like a zoo. Dogs barking, cats meowing, roosters crowing. Hard to give a guesthouse 5 stars of you can't even rest. Is you are a really deep sleeper then...
