We only ate here at the CVL Resto bar. It was around 3.30pm and we were the only customers. We ordered from the value menu. I ordered the grilled chicken with veg and garlic rice (165P), my wife had the fish and chips (180P). It came quite quickly so we know it wasnt fresh and probably reheated. They say the veg is cooked in butter but it was soaked in margarine!! A very distinctive taste that isn't pleasant. It seems like they use margarine instead of actual butter regularly here in the Philippines. My wife's breaded fish was almost certainly cooked from frozen. The chips were nice though. We wouldn't rush back here but it was close to our accommodation and we've definitely had worse in the Philippines.

WORST SERVICE! We are a group of 6 and stayed here for 2 nights. There was a typhoon during our stayed and we had to eat several times at the hotel. The woman at the restaurant of the hotel was so rude since the first day. She ignored us when I tried to call her. She did everything she could to not give us any service. On out last night when we went to the restaurant she told us with very rude manners that it was already closed at 9:10, even though they previously told us they closed at 9:30. We spend christmas here and made us feel super uncomfortable since the beginning. I do not recommend this place. This has been the worst service ever. Very rude.

We had a dinner in CVL's resto. This place is so simple and serves Filipino Comfort Food. We highly recommend the following: 1. Bulalo (good for 4pax) - very tasty 2. Kare-Kare (good for 4pax) - with ox tripe! 3. Fresh Lumpiang Ubod (good for 2pax) - BEST SELLER

Sufficient service, poor facility.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Found out wifi was only available from the lobby. We did not receive house keeping the first night and had to request it at the front desk every morning. The washroom is very run down that ants had infested the shower and parts of the room. The mirror and counter in the washroom was not cleaned thoroughly prior to our check in as it still had toothpaste splatter and shaved hair left behind. The shower curtain was covered in rust. Only 3 available outlets which none were beside the bed. Because the room was not sealed from the outside, we would wake up to the smell of smoke every morning. The room had AC and a fan which made do but it never cooled the room to its set temperature (lowest is 18c)

The only good thing I got from this hotel was the hot water and the good movies they had on cable. The staff was friendly except the front desk, who eventually got nicer throughout our stay.

It had a price tag of a 3 star western standard hotel but we received a room suited to a 1 star motel.

I meant to take photos of the details but had forgotten to due to our...

Few pointers: Air conditioning and fan needs cleaning.I have a very sensitive nose and I can get allergic to dusts and mouldy smells quite fast. 2nd day pa lang, sinipon na ako at clogged na nose ko for the rest of the stay (4days and 4nights). Bathroom needs cleaning maintenance so as the floors and the fridge smelled really off on the 1st day. Cockroaches as big as a standard door key, my husband needed to kill 2 of them on our 2nd night. Curtains smelled mouldy as well. Internet and reception is very poor. Doors are loose and windows were so hard to close (we were trying to prevent bugs from coming in). Instead of guests feeling that we can be comfortable and stay longer than we should, we just felt that we couldn’t wait to get out of here. The only good that this place gave us were the staff that was friendly and very accommodating. Other than that, the facility is just poorly maintained. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone at all, even if it’s with...

I did not enjoy my stay here whatsoever. I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. The bathroom was one of my biggest issues. Not only was it dirty and had a window that didn't close, there were ants, slugs, and a giant cockroach in it!! Another problem I have found while staying here was the WiFi. I know that's a first world problem, but I feel that a hotel should have WiFi with a somewhat strong connection, and I barely got data/service inside my room. I don't eat pork and I had vouchers for a complimentary breakfast everyday, however 3 of the 4 days the breakfast had some sort of pork in it, so I simply asked if I could substitute it for Bangus (fried fish) or even eggs, and they denied my request and made me pay for a different meal. The only aspect of this place that I found somewhat pleasant was the location- it was in very close proximity to Mt. Tapyas and there were other restaurants within...
