My girlfriend and I booked a room here for 5 days and we loved it. Washroom may need a little work and wifi connection is poor but other than that it is really worth booking a room in here if you want a true local feel in El Nido, Palawan. The place itself is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and beautiful beaches. Corong Corong Beach which is where Dreamland is located, Vanilla Beach and the beach in El Nido town which are both about a 10 minute tricycle or motorbike ride. The view right in front of you are stunning rock formations of El Nido which are nice to see every morning. We also found the water was calmer at this beach compared to the beach in town. Ces, the owner of Dreamland, is also really friendly, genuine and honest. He will help you get around, give you advice about the town and help you with the tours you want to do. There may be a little language barrier if you don't speak Tagalog (Filipino) but he speaks better English than most people in town, you just have to initiate conversations with him and he will open up. There will be dogs playing/barking and people trying to sell accessories everywhere but that's just a part of the culture. As you visit local restaurants you will realize that there is always a house dog in every restaurant, and people who sell goods may get annoying but that's just their only way of living. Locals are really friendly in El Nido, and Dreamland is surrounded by them. Dreamland gave me the true local feel of El Nido. You just have to embrace the culture of Palawan and you will appreciate this beautiful place in the Philippines. We were sad to leave this place and definitely can't wait to come back.|||Cheers,|Jon Panganiban and...
Read moreI really want to make time to write a review about this place, because i think the previous reviews does not really make up what this place has to offer.||||First and foremost, THIS IS A BED & BREAKFAST place. So don't expect it to be a 4/5 star hotel or resort. I will sum it all up for you:||||-Location: It is located around max 7 mins. to El Nido Town. And if you walk by the beach there are other bars and restaurant, for recommendation. Bella Vita is just nearby (#1 Restaurant in El Nido through Tripadvisor).||||-Food: They only offer breakfast, its included in the room price and if you have to go early in the morning, like us we had to leave at 5am to catch the ferry to coron, they would still prepare it for you at this hour.||||-Rooms: Of course the rooms are basic! Basic cottages, with the luxury of air conditioning (and yes people! unless you stay in A HOTEL, dont expect that they have the newest air conditioning on these cottages, the air conditioning CAN get loud but then again of course, it depends if you want your room at 16 degrees at night). Bathrooms are OK, the water doesnt have much pressure. But the toilet works, there's a mirror, everyday new towels. ||||-Service: Ces and His team are the most kindest people i have ever met in our 3 week vacation in the philippines. This Team is the typical filipino hospitality, they would go far and beyond to attend to your needs.||||All in all, i would defintely recommend this B&B, its simple, its warm, layed.back and the hospitaly is on top. Thank you ces for making our stay...
Read moreWe spent a week at Dreamland El Nido in Corong-Corong beach and enjoyed this nice friendly little place very much. We had our own bungalow (some share a thin wooden wall with another unit) right on the beach, with a small balcony that makes for a perfect place to admire the amazing sunsets with all the boats in the quiet bay of Corong-Corong. Breakfast (choice of filipino or american) was served on our terrace and self-service coffee and tea were available from early on in the morning. Dreamland at Corong-Corong is only a 15-20 minutes walk to El Nido downtown, or a 5-10 minutes tuk tuk ride (30 to 50 pesos - less than 1 USD). I believe that this was a perfect choice as El Nido is always busy and choked with traffic, and many bars play loud music until 2:00 or 3:00 am. If you are looking for a quiet, affordable and comfortable place with a truly caring service, Dreamland El Nido is your best option. Rose Ann, the sweet and smart manager of Dreamland made our stay perfect and we cannot thank her enough for her friendship! She also answered all of our enquiries through Booking.com in a timely manner and got in touch with us beforehand to assist us in planning our stay to the smallest detail. The places that she recommended (beaches, tours, restaurants) were all excellent choices and we were never disapointed. All the young Filipino staff at Dreamland was...
