OYO 689 Mando Mango Inn — Hotel in El Nido

the including breakfast was so horrible that I didn’t dare to touch it. It’s served at a little dirty shack full of mosquitoes. We got it in a takeaway dish so we could eat it in our room. There is no place to sit there so you have to wait for your breakfast to take it with you. The egg was squeezed in between two dry sandwiches who were soaked in fat. It was literally dripping. ||- the place didn’t feel safe because of the bad vibe that came from the people who are hanging around the inn the whole day. When we arrived they acted weird, not welcoming, burped in my ear and were half naked. They didn’t give any info and we had to find out how the breakfast worked ourselves (what we didn’t take after all).||- the room is not more that cardboard stacked boxes. I cannot understand how they can ask that much money for something that is not even a real room. They are building more so it’s some sort of construction site. ||- there are big cracks under and above the door and window so insects can come in.||- there is no mirror in the room...

The location of Mando Mango is really convenient if you plan to have step-away access to the beach, market or catch a ride to El Nido or Las Cabanas. Our room had fresh bed, towels, soap, toilet paper, shampoo, aircon, TV and good wifi. You should know that El Nido has some temporary cutoffs for water and electricity, but during long stay we have never experienced any inconveniences in Mando Mango as they have good water station and power generator. Also staff is really helpful and replies fast, you may arrange any service with them - tour, transfer or bike. And we haven't seen any bug or other "guest" in our room on 2nd floor for more...

We stayed here for 2 nights in the brand new room which slept 4 people. The room was perfect, very clean and nice bathroom. The staff are the friendliest staff we have come across since travelling Asia for the last 5 months. They treated us like family and went out their way to help us book the boat to Coron. The chicken they cooked at night was very tasty and you could just sit in the garden area and chill which was a really good vibe. I would recommend staying here, whilst we were there they were making more rooms so I think in a few months this place will be amazing! Good...
