Myself and two friends stayed here for 3 nights and did not have a very pleasant experience. Most hostels I have stayed in have been cleaner. When we arrived there was no toilet paper and every time we ran out he had to go and ask reception for it. The bin was not emptied once and the floors were not swept, the amount of sand on the floor at the end was ridiculous! On several occasions we can back and the a/c had been switched off by the mains so had to ask reception to turn it back on. They supplied breakfast, you tell them what you want and when in advance. My breakfast was cold every morning, and when we asked for water instead of tea it was not provided. To get to the actual inn you have to walk down a narrow walk way past peoples gardens and houses. There was stray dogs everywhere (standard in the Philippines). The key was also attached to a massive wooden block which barely fit into our bags! The only good thing about the inn is the location, sat right on the beach, and it was walking distance into El Nido. One more thing to add, if you book a sea view, do not expect it, we could only see other rooms from our window. Very disappointing, hostels are...
Read moreIf I could give 0 star, I would ! The place is horrible ! We booked through booking a « Villa beachside », we arrived to see a 10 m2 wood room, with very poor isolation (mosquitoes could get in from in between the walls), poor AC, the toilet was pretty scary and not at all tidy, there were stains on the bedsheets, everything looked so creepy … When we asked them to cancel our booking because this is not at all what was on Booking.com, they told us euuh sorry we can’t. You need to at least stay the first night. So we cancelled on booking but paid the first night (we paid double the normal price btw, just because we booked from outside the Philippines 2400 PHP vs 1200 PHP for filipinos). After a few minutes, they asked us to leave because we cancelled the booking. We explained that we already paid the first night and only cancelled the following nights, so we will stay the first night there, they told us we don’t care, out. When se refused, they switched off the electricity from the cottage to force us out. Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had in the 30 countries I’ve been to. PLEASE AVOID THIS...

The staff were the worst we've ever seen. Very unhelpful, it seems anything you asked them they were annoyed and made you beg for it. Very unaccomodating. No room service for 5 days, even though we asked, they refused. Had to litterally fight them to at least have a new toilet paper roll every day. Forget about shampoo or soap, hard no for them.
We asked for a transfer to the airport (4 times) to the guy on reception for the next day early morning, and the next day there was NO one there. Had to run to find a taxi to catch our flight, NOT reliable people.
Lots of times you don't have water in your room, and when you do, it's very salty and oxidised.
The breakfast is two white breads with a slice of cheese and egg, pretty basic, and they cook it before hand and leave it cling wrapped sitting there until you actually ask for it.
The 'ocean view' cottages have a nice view, but they are far from the main reception, so you need to walk to the main building anytime you want water.
I think for this price, you can get a better place, at least somewhere with...
