Forest Camp El Nido, Palawan — Hotel in El Nido

Where to start...we arrived on time for our booking reservation..madrid the manager owner..didnt have any clue about our reservation ..after showing her our reservation on the app she told us we were lucky and gave us the room 5.. The room is disappointing..drapes on walls are thorn..mosquito net full of holes ..so after reviewing my reservation again ...and having booked the top of their room ...the panoramic one..we went down..100 steps down to see the manager ...but she was out...her kids told us she would be right back ...but took 2 hours...we explained the situation...but she tried to convince us that the room 5 was the panoramic one....not a chance...we had to talk and talk..then she admited to it ..and told us that she will change us to the panoramic one the next day... Next day our room was not ready at checking time but did rent the room 5 we were in... We rented a motorcycle from her..but it had no brake ..one of the staff tried to fix it but couldn't..she told us ..she didnt no the motorbike had no brake she will send the bike to repair....but 5 minutes after we left she rented the motor bike to a young couple Very very disappointed .. Will not recommend Ps she lied to expedia about...

The location of this place is very bad because there is no transportation that can drop you off nearby. You have to walk approximately 20 minutes to reach the city center. The stairs you need to climb are in poor condition and can be quite dangerous, especially at night.

The place is full of geckos and insects that enter your room at night, which is quite terrifying. During our entire stay, the bathrooms were never cleaned, and toilet paper was not replenished. The water bottles available for purchase from the fridge were never restocked.

The person at the reception sold us a tour, and on the day of the tour, we were told we had to pay an additional 400PHP beyond the originally agreed price.

Some of us left earlier than planned and paid for another hotel in the city center because we were too uncomfortable at this place. I do not...

The view is amazing but there can be fixed so many small things which could do the place more cozy. The broken handlers in showers. There are so many things which could be fixed maybe with 🪛 but it need some maintainer. Sometimes you get stuck in the shower and it is hard to get out. We had a cottage where the key absolutely doesn't make sense. You locked the doors, but you were able to open them without keys. It was funny. Also I expected they would be able to order some transport for us to the port. they have some Vehicle in the area, but it seems it is too early for them and they want to sleep. It was not 3am it was 7am, then we had to go by foot to the city center and order transport ourselves. Not a problem. Nice place but a lot of small things could be done...
