So we stayed for 3 nights, coming from puerto on a motorbike.||||lets go with the good things first:||1.Good location, really quiet and always shaded.||2.somewhat great view, and really close to downtown of el nido.||3. breakfast was fair enough for its price of 100pesos.||4.they do not have hot water for the shower but the water is warm enough on its own.||||now the bad things.||1.as stated in traveloka they have 24hour front desk, BUT when we arrived at 3pm for checking in, no one was there, and the whole time we stayed there was always no one at the reception/front desk and you had to knock on the desh or find them to get their attention.||||2.upon checkin in the room wasnt prepared, no towel and blanket, the shower was broken so they had the replace the hose.||||3.the staff were not welcoming at all, not all of them, the owner was really friendly, and the guy working there is also friendly, the old lady was ok, but the girls always had an attitude.||||4.they turn off the airconditioning every time, like literally turn it off using a fuse box at their front desk, even if you go out for 1 hour they switch it off.and to get it back on you have to FIND the person at the front desk which is a real hassel, specially coming back after a tour and all you wanna do is rest.||||5.wifi is really bad, and they change passwords without informing you.||||6.they do not have housekeeping.||||7.the bed is comfy, but the pillows are just hell. ||||8.they stated they have free coffee, but again, you have to find the staff first so they can get the coffee for you.||||so in the end, its good for a 1 night stay, but thats it. ||i do not reccommend this place for long...
Read moreWe were here in an organized group. The rooms in the building opposite the reception in the first floor seem to be OK. We also occupied the rooms D and E right next to the reception. In there it smells of mold and smoke. Nothing anyone could and should tolerate. On the second night, we could transfer to room 2 which is on the ground floor in the building opposite the reception. It also smelled of molds in there but not as strong. However, the room has a hot shower which most rooms do not seem to have. The breakfast is included in the room rate. Filipono style: rice, egg, meat. Not good, not bad. It always took them a long time to serve the breakfast, maybe since the hotel was fully booked and because they don't have a good process in taking orders and monitoring which customers have been served and not. They have a big common area in front of rooms 1-3.
To sum it all up, don't check in or book before you have checked the rooms here since they are of different qualities and you might not be able to transfer rooms since the hotel caters to big groups and might be full most of the time. There are plenty of other...
Read morePositives the accomadation of the place is affordable. location was pretty good. 5min walking distance to most shops and restaurants. air conditioned rooms. friendly staff - they've been great with all our requests. the room we stayed in was clean. they can provide a tour package at discounted prices if you stay here
Negatives multiple times during our stay we had no water and had to wait for 30 mins for the water tanks to be refreshed. Was quite an inconvenience especially after a long trip out to the islands. beds could be better. air conditioner spits water in your face if your sleeping under it. wifi not accessible in every room. slow internet.
Unfortunately can't give half stars. But I would give this place a solid 3.5 star if possible. It's not a bad place but the inconvenience of not having readily available water can lead me to give this place more...
