Culinary Delight!
Our experience at the restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. We began our meal with the Two-Cheese Omelette, which was cooked to perfection. The eggs were fluffy and light, showcasing a delicate balance of flavors that only a skilled chef could achieve. Each bite revealed the rich, creamy texture of the cheeses, harmonizing beautifully with the well-seasoned eggs.
Next, we savored the Silog Tapsilog, which was equally impressive. Every element of the dishâfrom the fragrant rice to the tangy vinegar and the expertly prepared main componentâwas flawlessly executed. The balance of flavors was remarkable, offering a refreshing contrast that elevated the meal.
To top off our dining experience, we indulged in a Dirty Masala Chai Latte and a Black Sesame Latte. These beverages provided the perfect finishing touch, adding a delightful complexity to our meal.

Read moreFinding Coastal Grounds Coffee Siargao was an adventure in itself. Tucked away within a complex, it wasnât the easiest place to locate. We even asked a few locals for directions, but surprisingly, no one seemed to have heard of it. After a few circles and some back-and-forth, we finally stumbled upon it. First impressions? The cafĂ© was aesthetically appealing, featuring a trendy neon-lit background and a mix of indoor and outdoor seating.
Although the indoor area was air-conditioned, we quickly noticed a strong smell from the kitchenâcooking oil and food preparation lingering in the airâso we opted to sit outside. It was a good choice, as the outdoor setup felt relaxed and airy. The service was warm and welcoming, with the staff greeting us with a smile, which made for a pleasant start to the experience.
For lunch, we ordered the Beef Tapa Tapsilog, served with eggs and fried rice, along with an Egg Omelette. To go with the meal, we tried their Iced Tea and a Hot Black Sesame Latte. The food was filling, but the flavors were quite mediocreânothing particularly memorable or standout. The drinks, too, were just okay.
While the ambiance and service were great, the food didnât quite match up to expectations. Itâs a nice spot to hang out, but if youâre looking for a meal that wows, you might leave feeling a little underwhelmed. Would I return? Maybe for the vibe, but not necessarily...
Read moreThe food is nice, their pastry is tasty and their baristas are very welcoming. I ordered long black because it's a base drink for all of their coffee and is what usually will define the rest of the drinks. Here's my honest review. Take note that this is only for this pulled shot, other shots could have a different taste profile so take it with a grain of salt.
The drink is slightly bitter and sour at the same time, which could potentially mean that the coffee grounds is a bit inconsistent as some grains could have been overextracted and underextracted. Having a slightly overextracted drink is usually better as milk masks most of the bitterness, compared to underextraction as it's harder to mask the sour taste. Overall, the coffee is good and will definitely come back here for the different...
