The Boardwalk at Cloud 9 Resort — Attraction in Surigao del Norte

Arrived at night looking to see what it was all about. 100 pesos/pax for what? To walk a bridge in the dark and not see anything? We asked if there were places to eat and they answered back straight to my face na meron. When we got to the 2 places that were still open, you can clearly see that they are accessible by other means. You do not have to pay the entrance fee to access the restaurant. Obviously, if we did a little more research beforehand we would have known. I was hoping to be able to trust some people here. Cloud 9 in Siargao is iconic, especially for surfers and those who love ocean views! The boardwalk and tower give a stunning view of the waves, perfect for photos. But the 100 PHP entrance fee isn’t worth it if you’re charged every time you go in and out. It should be good for the whole day. The spot is beautiful, but they could improve the system so guests can enjoy freely without worrying about re-entry fees. Especially those travelers that is just near the spot. Fee of 100PHP to get in. The boardwalk is destroyed and dirty. Where does the money go? I understand that this is typhoon damage, but the wrecks and trash on the boardwalk? There’s 3 people collecting money at the entrance… 2 of them cannot find time to start taking out the trash accumulated on the end of the boardwalk?
